Seaside Buffet, San Diego CA

I've been here several times and keep giving it another chance. Each visit has less entree selections and towards the end everything seems to taste the same. Pricey and I won't be returning. To top it off, as we're paying our bill, a small roach runs across the counter!

Ok, I didn't mean to write review, but. First of all it was a first time I left the restaurant completely hungry. I tried meals one by one with hope next one will be better. No. They wasn't. Taste is not the point. I had a filling I was finishing after someone else. Even the rice in sushi was with strange taste. Guys, how could you spoil the RICE? Only two meals were good like a mongolian style beef and some kind of dumplings with crab taste cream. We were celebrating my birthday with my girlfriend and she is on the same point. Now I'm writing review sitting in the bathroom. Basically whole afternoon it's my place. Thank you restaurant guys, what can I say: "Hello diarrhea! "

No reusable (real) dishes, silverware or cups. All plastic and styrofoam. Terribly overpriced for my experience. Some items intended to be served hot were not even warm. Nobody was following mask or glove guidelines. I will not be back. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Food and customer service was never the same anymore. Not so much choices on food. Food looks like as if it was reheated several times from previous days. It didn't look appetizing. Also, the waitress/ waiter gave out our bill even when we are not even done eating. It's not even 10 minutes that we've been sitting/eating: (. I find that very disrespectful/rude.

Went here for dinner. Sushi tasted like it sat out for the whole day, soy sauce tasted like it had olive juice, mini cakes were super dry, cotton candy machine wasn't working, fried baby shrimp had way too much cream cheese even for me who loves the stuff. But hey, the pickled ginger was good. Basically anything that comes from a package is pretty good.

OMG. DO NOT spend $100+ on this place. It was beyond awful. To be charging gourmet prices for week old food is nothing short of highway robbery. Rubbery, processed, cold, even the soy (in packets) was horrible. Do yourself a favor and go to 100s. SOOO much better for the price.

Crab claws, shrimp, sushi, the classic buffet dishes.
We did a Friday lunch- reasonably priced.
We are hard to please.
There is a 10% seniors discount- check the website or call to make sure.

This is the first time we have had lunch there, we usually have dinner there. The selection wasn't as large as the dinner menu, however the meal was great as usual as was the service!

For a hefty price of $30+ the food quality was very poor. I normally eat at buffet till I am full but in this case I just left after sometime. Will not be coming back to this place for sure.

Not a good value.
Asian buffets are always quantity over quality.
Sushi was made from canned tuna fish. Crab legs were old and not fresh. Most Asian dishes were out or little to nothing left in them.
Better bet 100 seafood or at onami

Well. Grill not open yet due to covid, but the rest of the buffet is back as it used to be. Not a big fan of this type of fare, unfortunately, other than the grill.

The decor can be described as Tasteful Vegas. The staff is kind and friendly. The food is fantastic. The prices are reasonable. The covid guidelines are safe and a little extra because it is a buffet. Can't wait to go again.

They had a large selection of seafood. Problem was that most of it was undercooked. I think they were pushing out the food a little to fast that night. Was my first time there, sadly my last time. Yes I was sick the whole next day. I attribute this to undercooked shrimp or snails.

Food was cold and tasted old. The serving plates had minimal food on them like they were waiting for people to show up even other people already there. Was $30 and even the crab legs were soaked in salt water and mushy

Beautiful atmosphere, nice wait staff, amazing food! Highly recommend the coconut chicken but everything sampled was great

Sunday, May 9th. Mothers day. One of the best tasting buffets I've gone so far, here in San Diego. Haven't encountered spoiled food like some others that's always a good sign. Was better bed covid-19 as the have other food services. Feels a bit cramped. I recommend this place.

May2021 update. Nope, nope no. $28.88 for no fresh chef (Kang cook) not good food. Stupid plastic utensils, foam plates, and where gloves to get your food. 2021 messed them BAD. Try back after June 15th. Here's hoping.one of my favorite buffets in San Diego county, I the sushi and Stir Fry chef in one buffet! They have great desserts too.

It use to be good value but now they've increased their price by alot.no longer worth it.too bad.at this new price this restaurant wont last very long

Chinese food, super delicious. Great ambiance & decor. I had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. The place has a cool atmosphere.

Chinese food and service here is above par. I love this place, excellent food & service. The service here is friendly. The bill was fair I would say. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I loved.
