They recovered the whole 4TB harddrive! There were some "unrecoverable" files, but looking at the file names, they were just some Adobe Premiere Autosaves. Every bit of footage was found and retrieved.

The price was steep at first, but they adjusted it according to my budget, which was very nice of them. (around a $1,000 difference)

My hard drive started clicking and my computer was running really slowly. One day it wouldn't boot up, but I was able to fix it with Disk Utility in single-user mode. That worked a few times.until it didn't and my drive failed completely. My entire music collection, so many memories, just gone. That was five years ago.

Working with Secure Data came with a lot of up front honesty on the nature of data recovery.
My external hard drive was damaged, and with it having over 1 tb of important files, I had understandable concern of getting any of it back. Elliot, who helped me through the process, did let me know up front the possibilities of data loss, but reassured me once the drive was looked at that he felt confident in the successful recovery of my files, while keeping my expectations at bay. Luckily, though yes some files were lost, I recovered 99% of my drive back. Regarding costs, yes, the quote up front was significantly lower than the end cost once the drive was thoroughly inspected, but Secure Data was willing to work with me in getting my files back at a price that we could both manage. Overall, the customers service was genuine and caring, making it an easy process to move through.

Elliot always show a high standards of professionalism. I have to say that my English is limited, however, this guy had a lot of patience with me. Every time that I call or email to him he responded very quick. Also he responded all my concerns about my damaged hard disk. Kim provided great communication regarding the data recovery efforts and that aspect of their service is 5 star. Unfortunately, some of my data was not recoverable, and double unfortunately, the more important files seem to be the ones not recovered. Still have many files to go through. I''m assuming that the problem was that my drive was too far gone and not a reflection of their service.
