Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! ️

This month Cathie’s scrapbook led us to See’s Candies and Valentine’s Day seemed like the perfect occasion to visit. I was curious to see if the shelves had been cleared out, but was impressed that there was plenty of product remaining.

The See’s family opened their first shop in 1921 and in their early years they actually delivered their chocolates around town by motorcycle.

Although you might not be surprised that they produce more than 26 million pounds of candy every year, perhaps you didn’t know that they also hand out more than 1 million pounds of free samples in their stores each year.

Many things have changed in this world in the 100+ years that See’s has been around, but the quality of their products never seems to.

I love See's candies but omgosh how expensive they are now.used to buy a lot for gifts can't afford that anymore.still treat myself now & then.

Our favorite place to get chocolates. We buy each other our favorites. We do this for Christmas an Valentine's Day. These candies are the best.

I haven't been into See's Candies in a while. I stopped by to pick up a gift for a friend we're about ready to meet for dinner. I was struggling with some of the packaged candies and asked what kinds they were. A young man at the counter said they were dark chocolate. I told him that I knew they were dark chocolate but are they variety are they assortment is there something specific, and he just said they were dark chocolate. I asked again and he insisted on his answer. Seeing the conversation going nowhere I went back over and try to figure it out myself. Then this young lady came up to me and asked if I needed help. I asked her about the dark chocolate and she explained everything to me. She helped me assemble what I needed and very short time got me through the lines to the checkout and was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Quite frankly, Skye saved the day. Already late, I was about ready to give it up and get back in the car and head to San diego. But not only did she assist me, I ended up getting gifts for somebody else as well as had a pleasant experience in good conversation. Definitely recommend the See's Candies to you, ask for Skye, she will take care of you.

See's Candy is the best around here. Who else has a chain of chocolate candies? I also can't think of another. Come in and try a sample.

Every time I go here, even when they're super busy, the people working here are always super friendly and patient. I never feel rushed or ignored - and of course, the chocolate is always fresh tasting and carefully packaged. Best chocolate covered raisins!

Had to stop in and grab a few things, shamrock and tried the happy birthday cake candy.amazing should have bought a box.

I tried to resist entering store at Christmas time. I failed. Yes it seemed as if there were more people than chocolate but it was still great.

I always send candy to my daughter in North Carolina for her birthday and Christmas. I asked you how long a box of chocolates lasted and was told four months. Great! I bought the candy after Thanksgiving and mailed them. When opened on Christmas morning the chocolates were dry and crumbly. It cost me $50. Very disappointed.

Such a fun experience. The person attending us was SO helpful. Everything is so delicious. I put together a customized box of chocolates with her help.
