Supermarket Seiwa Market reviews
25Lower price, fresh produce and fruits, if need shabu shabu ingredients don't skip meat department, frozen food area got so many things to choose.
I shop here once every 3 days. It's so convenient because they carry all the best Japanese ingredients
Such a cute little Japanese grocery store for urgent japanese ingredients. Lots of snack varieties, not too comprehensive, but perfect place to run into if in the area. Reasonable prices if on sale
Different line-up than Mitsuwa I'm used to, and it was such a fun. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a scene change.
Did NOT, I repeat, did NOT treat me with so much as an ounce of decency. I was absolutely appalled by the way I was treated, especially when I was being very cordial and polite. I came into this Japanese market, expecting to find cute Japanese high school age girls (called a shojo, for you English speakers) and was VERY disappointed to find none. Dejected, I searched the store for some peepee poopoo snacks to make myself feel better. I weight a healthy 370 pounds and require a slightly larger meal than most. When I went to the register, I attempted to pay for my items in yen (the superior Japanese currency), and was denied. I had a terrible experience, and I’m certain that no respectful Japanese establishment (though I haven’t been to japan yet I plan to go one day when I get married to a Japanese girl) would be fun this way.
This Market is cheaper than Mituwa. Some of the item is cheaper than Tokyo central and vise versa. I like to buy meats and snacks here because it’s the best quality and good prices! They have Wagyu meat always in good price! Not so much on the fish and sushi. They also sell Cream pan bread! But if you don’t come early all the good ones sells out by 1pm.
Not as comprehensive as Mitsuwa or Tokyo Central, but set up like a traditional grocery store and the prices are competitive here and there are potential savings depending on what you want. They carry the Japanese Fanta grape which is a personal favorite.
If you need to stock up, there are many items here to choose from. Feels like a warehouse shop with many frozen selections. My daughter in college loads up the freezer so she has a good, but wide variety of food for dinner.
A grocery store sells traditional Japanese foods, I picked up my konjac noodles, natto, fresh sashimi, beef slices, frozen edamame here. Great selection of Japanese sake/beers too. Just not a place to buy fresh produce, the prices are higher than other produce markets in the same area.
Awesome neighborhood Japanese grocery store. Clean, neat, & orderly. Great deals on produce, meat, snacks, & fresh sushi rolls.
Really good deals on Japanese food and their bentos are sometimes on super sale before closing. I'll definitely be stopping by to restock on all my Japanese ingredients again.
This store deserves more recognition. Its an excellent store. It's rather small compared to other markets, but you find many Japanese only products here you can't get in any other market. Plus, you get many many made in Japan products, which I 100% trust. The store is small but DO NOT let that deter you. You will definitely like what you find. Oh, they had beef sukiyaki samples out. My goodness that was the best beef I've ever tasted.
Love this place. Incredibly clean & well stocked. Great selection at prices that are cheaper than typical grocery store.
Asian Market very friendly, went in just for some mayo couldn't find it, and standing right in front of it, but most items are listed on lables in Japanese or other Asian language and package differently than I'm used to, Finally asked and she very nicely showed me where.
Great prices on some bulk items. Cost was considerably less on some items compared to Tokyo central.
This store is good but some food not fresh. If you want to not fresh this store good for you because little bit cheap than other japen store.
Freshly baked Cream Pan, freshly made sushi and bentos every morning! Bentos 50% off after 5pm. Sushi 20% off after 5pm and 50% off of the original price ater 7pm. Their produce are always very delicious! They price match their products if you have proof of an item that is cheaper elsewhere. And make sure to check out their fliers! They have a lot of stuff on sale every week!
The sushi is incredible their Seafood is very good they're fresh octopus versus squid fresh fish they have all kinds of different cuts of meats their meats are very nice very nicely trimmed Incredible Cuts
They sell bulk food items. They have low price if you like to stock them up. Tokyo Central has more selection however, if you are small quantity buyer.
Do not shop hungry here. You will be sorry and your cart will be full.
Your wallet won't mind too much. Price is very reasonable.
Also look in the back corner for imported ICE from JAPAN. Seriously?
