Select Physical Therapy

It's now nine weeks post shoulder surgery at Kerlan-Jobe and approximately eight weeks in rehab/physical therapy. Chose "Select Physical Therapy" because convenient, located in same offices as Kerlan-Jobe in Pasadena. From my experience, I have no complaints with Select Physical Therapy. Scheduled appointments always begin on time, staff personnel are all young but conduct themselves professionally, attentive to each patient and very skilled. My physical therapist, Ken Kunisaki, has been excellent in all aspects of my rehab care. He has outstanding academic qualifications, is very knowledgeable, personable and appears genuinely committed to helping his patients reach the most complete recovery possible. Select Physical Therapy has been a good choice based on my experience.

I've been a Select PT patient off and on for the last decade-back, shoulder and now knee replacement-and the therapists and PT assistants have always been outstanding.

Hands on therapy. Manual manipulation which is key for rehab on my back. Knowledgeable staff. Not insurance pushers so they are focused on actual improvement and not just pushing you through generic treatment. Considering continuing treatment out of pocket!

It has been hard enough experiencing an injury. Thanks to Doctor Joseph Love for the amazing therapy plan that is slowly bringing me back to recovering. All the staff here are wonderful. Hopeful to return to work soon.

Jennifer is amazing, honest and compassionate. Her priority is her clients well-being. She is also very professional and knowledgeable about injuries and treatment.

After six sessions, I’m sad I chose select physical therapy. They are overbooked and the space is crowded and you do not spend a lot of time with the therapist. Instead they hand you off quickly to someone who knows very little.

So glad I found Select Physical Therapy. Joe (PT) is great. Knowledgeable and friendly therapists, professional staff, clean and relaxing clinic and a large variety of exercise equipment to fit everyone's needs.

Edgar has helped me in the past with a knee issue and a shoulder issue. Both are now without any problems. He is now helping me with my other shoulder. He listens and is knowledgeable, thorough, and concerned with his patients' progress. He is my go to PT guy.

I have been going to Edgar Hussien for Select PT in Pasadena for the past many years for different reasons. The first was my left shoulder, the second was my right knee and now my right shoulder. I have been to another PT for this right shoulder pain because that was the PT my physician recommended me to go but here I am with SELECT PT. They are the BEST!

I had to turn to in-network care for financial reasons. And I was skeptical. These days, it seems Drs book 15min sessions with you and you feel more like a number than a human being. I can honestly say that Pasadena Select Physical Therapy - Marcus in particular - eliminated my skepticism with his knowledge and ability to communicate on day one. He helped me to understand more about my injury, than my GP and a prior out-of-network PT provider had over several weeks. The healing atmosphere of SPT is clearly a reflection of the therapists expertise and their dedication to help clients heal.
