I met Sissi Selinger for the first time this week. Her office called me on a Friday afternoon informing me that I needed to come in so that Sissi Selinger could go over my biopsy results and treatment plan. When I asked what my results were, they insisted that I needed to come in. Immediately, I thought the worst. I spent 5 days extremely worried and anxious to meet the doctor to discuss my results. On the day of my appointment, I was told that the doctor needed to do a vaginal exam and that it was all standard to prep for surgery. Keep in mind, at this point I still don't know what my results are, but the medical assistant is talking about surgery? I'm even more nervous and anxious, but I comply and undress from the waist down. Moments later a women swings the door open, rushes in, proceeds to tell me that she "thinks" she can do the exam in time, but that she has to run to the hospital for a delivery. I have NO CLUE who this person is since she didn't bother to introduce herself, but I can only assume that it's the doctor who I have been waiting for. As a mother of 3 children, I immediately understand that the doctor needs to be there to deliver the baby. At the same time, I'm a patient whose undressed, about to have an exam and is just wanting her results. She quickly and coldly told me my results, did the exam in 1 sec (no exaggeration), told me I needed surgery and ran out the door.
I am still in shock at the lack of professionalism, empathy, care for the patient, coldness, and arrogance that Sissi Selinger demonstrates.
I have never encountered a doctor like her.
This is to Sissi: A word of advise, WE ARE HUMAN so treat us as such. Remember the oath that you took and reflect on how you can be a better person. If you don't like your profession, find another one. Life is too short to be miserable. You are human too and one day you may need a doctor - just sayin'.

Sissi is EXTREMELY rude. She refused to answer any of my questions about my surgery and when I asked if I could call my mom because my mom had a question about my surgery she refused and said if I don't like it to go see a new Dr.

I love dr sellinger! I had her as my obgyn for both my kiddos and both deliveries! Both were amazing experiences and she answers and listens to everything you have to say without being rushed! I couldn't ask for a better DR to deliver my babies! I wish there were more Drs who cared as much as she does! Thank you!

If I could put negative 5 stars if I could, this so called “ doctor”, is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered my whole life, rude, rude, rude, and to say to a “ patient “ put your “ fu%€ mask on! Was the last string, I see all these bad reviews and I honestly dnt see how she’s still practicing if it really seems she hates her work.lady, you really need to be a bit more humble, the world doesn’t revolve around you.

Dr. Selinger is AMAZING. She was so thorough during all of my visits and answered all of my questions. She always made me feel comfortable and safe.

I just felt like she didn’t care. Or at least as a first time mother, I felt at a loss. She’d ask me if I had questions, but I don’t know what questions I should even have. Visits with her were just very impersonal. I wish she would’ve prepared me for what was to happen. And asked me what birth plan I wanted.

I called the office for appointment after the referral from my doctor because I’m 12 weeks pregnant and the need to see an Ob/GYN. I went to the office with my husband they don’t let him in because of the covid-19 which is was annoying but ok, I went inside after 1 Hour waiting and I talk with the nurse about my situation and my tow pregnancy I had 2 surgery because my babies was big and she left the room and come back with a pepper to sign she said the doctor will not see if you do want to sign I was like:/ why she didn’t even here my thing she said I know but after2 surgery you can’t have normal delivery and I if you want one go to another office, so I just want to make sure everything is ok so I signed the paperwork and wait for the doctor. WhenDr sissi first come in my mask was off (I was alone in the room) she said Even if you are alone keep the mask one! I didn’t expect this way to say the thing. Anyway she talked again about the delivery and I told her it’s ok, then she said to undress for the exam, I saw this old ultrasound with this long think that hose inside your vagina to the womb I don’t want to used it I told her I don’t feel comfortable with this think and I had 2 kids before and they didn’t used it so I don’t now, she said this my way And I will used it, and if not go find another doctor for you: such a way. Never go to this doctor she is very mean.

Love love love Selinger! She’s amazing! Wish she would’ve been my dr for all of my pregnancies!

Absolutely wonderful experience working with Dr Selinger at Rancho OBGYN. She was always attentive to my needs and took her time in talking with me at each of my appointments throughout my pregnancy.

I went to Rancho OBGYN and saw Dr. Selinger for all of my prenatal care, and Dr. Selinger delivered my baby in April. I have nothing but good things to say about her!

She was always cheery, warm, and personable during all of my appointments. Sometimes those prenatal appointments are very routine and quick, but every once in a while I would unload a bunch of questions on her, and she always took the time to answer me very thoroughly. I never felt rushed at all. She seems to truly care about her patients.

I looked her up when I first started seeing her and saw some negative reviews. The only thing I can chalk that up to is personality differences. Perhaps she's too straightforward for some people, but I personally liked that about her. It was never to a point of being disrespectful. For example, at the end of my pregnancy, I wanted to push my induction date farther than what she preferred. She told me her opinion as to what she thought I should do, but she also listened to and respected my wishes. I appreciated how she could give a straightforward professional opinion but also compromised with me as long as my requests weren't unsafe.

I think Dr. Selinger is great, and I would recommend her to anyone!

She is my new OB. From my experience, she is very efficient and knowledgeable. I value doctors who are meticulous and pay attention to the tiniest details. She delivered all of these qualities before my surgery. It is very hard to trust a doctor without being able to witness their competence. From the qualities she had shown, I value her honesty and blunt responses. I will recommend her services.

Worst place if you’re pregnant the staff doesn’t know what they’re doing. I’ve been trying to see the dr since mid Jan and instead of booking appointments they just put you on cancellation wait lists. Now staff claims I can’t be seen there

My wife repeatedly tried making an appointment early on to for her pregnancy only to be told they do not have any appointments and when they did call back to try to schedule an appointment we were out of town and unable to make it, and now they refuse to see her because she’s too far along and are basically saying ‘too bad so sad for you’. Words from the wise: if you’re pregnant, go somewhere else.

Dr. Selinger is amazing. She is a very straightforward, no-bull, kind of Dr. All the low star reviews seem to be coming from "sensitive" patients. She has always been in a great mood with us and happy to answer questions. She probably just has short patience for. "slower" patients.

I’ve been going to Dr. Selinger for 6 yrs now and she is by far the BEST O. B I’ve ever had! I love her! She’s funny, she cares, she takes her job very seriously, and she has a TON of knowledge and wants the BEST for her patients! I feel blessed to have her! Too bad I can’t have her over for the holidays! I love everyone at her office! Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart! Xoxox

Callous, impolite, and irresponsible secretary. Turned away because my Health insurance card was electronic and not a physical copy. No heads up when booking the appointment. Missed work for nothing.

Dr.selinger was the doctor on call at Rancho springs hospital in the day of my son's delivery, she came in because my doctor wasent abilible; she was" horrible" I get that I'm not her patient but why be a delivery doctor if you don't enjoy it? She was so rude she didn't say any thing to me she just said push cought the baby, and started to stitch me up since I had teared I was feeling every stitch I voiced it out and she said a few more, please I would love to put a sharp object on you with out meds I had so much pain.
