I bought the 50s when it first came out from sena directly. After installing it and using it for a week I start hearing electric static noises from the left speaker and on the highway the volume is not loud enough to hear anything. I contacted the customer service and was told to do software update and factory reset. I did that and the volume problem was fixed but the static noise still there. I called again and I was told to send the unit back and will get a replacement. I sent the unit back and paid for shipping even when it’s not my fault that the unit is defective as I was told by the customer representative. Now it’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t heard anything from anyone or received a new unit. Every time I call they tell me the case with the RMA team. I called to ask for a refund and I was told we can’t do that. I ask to talk to a manager and I was told he is too busy to talk to me. I ask to talk to the RMA team which is the team that responsible for the delay and I was I can’t do that also. After 45 minutes on the phone and 3 weeks later still no solution

Terrible customer support. 3 weeks turnaround for replacement Part. Even when your product is registered. Terrible costly product information from support. Cannot get a specialist to call you back. Product specialist have other product specialist who never call you back. You might want to check with other companies before ordering from sena. Very disappointed. And spent a lot of money to get this product to work. I have pleaded and begged for a specialist to call me. Not even an email. Nobody reached out after repeated calls to Sena.

I am only writing a review based on the customer service as I have not received a product to review. I purchased a helmet on 6/14. I received an order confirmation the same day. After 2 days I checked in on the status to see if it had shipped only to find the order was still pending approval. They replied stating order was not approved because the billing and shipping address were not the same and was canceled due to their internal fraud prevention.however the sales receipt shows the both the shipping and billing address were identical. I replied back stating the receipt shows the addresses being the same but rather than take any effort to have customer support they just said to purchase another one. You cannot call their office in Irvine and talk with the sales team (I spoke with tech support and they said the only way to communicate is via email). The only reason I was aware there was an issue was out of my own curiosity. Nobody from their team alerted me of the pending status being declined and I probably just would have been twiddling my thumbs waiting had I not checked in. On top of that, according to the sales receipt they sent me there is no discrepancy in address, they are both the same and correct. Once I pointed that out their solution was just to have me start all over then purchase via paypal.

I just hope the helmet is better than the customer service.

I contacted Sena Technologies through Sena Website. I chatted with Jake. He has found my necessary part and opened a warranty claim right away. Next day Jake and Fadi N contacted and asked for the shipping address etc.questions. I have received my replacement part within 3 days. Quality products are always worth it to buy! They care about customers. Thank you
