Senator Theatre reviews
9The only redeeming quality of this place is the fact that actual good bands come here occasionally. Other than that it's pretty much a skid-mark.
Worst theater I have ever been. The bathrooms were like porta potties but with running water. The place needs a major remodeling. The ceiling had water marks and stains all over. Only the entrance had the original charm everywhere else the charm had been removed. Not even the sound was good. I doubt I will ever be back.
Great place for live bands! A little divey, but I like that. I saw Clutch there and they were phenomenal! 1 brown haired security guard chic got a little Karen on me about a wrist band, but that was the only negative.
The venue and staff are above and beyond! Awesome line up with a safe and fun environment. Thank you all!
Went here last Sunday for Modest Mouse and had a great time. It's an older, medium-sized, venue which I actually prefer. The best part is, they aren't Ticketmaster/Livenation affiliated as far as I know - so I don't feel ripped off when I go to purchase tickets. The sound was great, the bathrooms got a little messy towards the end of the night, but that's normal. FYI, I think they take card for everything except alcohol here. A little weird, but it is what it is. Just bring cash to be safe.
The venue gives off abandoned building vibes. Worst quality sound I’ve ever heard at a concert - way too loud, just noise. Could be awesome, similar to The Observatory in SD with its old charm, but it needs new owners who care about quality.
Great little venue. Always set up nicely.
Sound system is awesome. Good for concerts and movies
Sound quality isn't that great, but the people and staff there are great. Always make sure to wear earplugs, protect your hearing.
Went to a concert last minute here, place was dirty and old. My friend got hurt and the had zero form of medical to provide her.
