Seoul Jung Korean BBQ reviews
18 终于知道为何评价低了,收银兼男服务生态度极差,竟然限制小菜,你小菜不是随便选的吗!点了同一种四次就不给吃了。态度极其恶劣!半天不给上菜。广而告之大家抛弃他家
We ate food here out of our expectation.
However, they limited us to order 4 portions of food each time and waited long time for one order.
If they care how much we ate the food, they should not charge us $32/person. They should charge each dish instead.
Definitely, I will not come back again. I also will ask my friends do not come here. We ate McDonald’s with happiness better than Seoul Jung Korean BBQ.
Short staffed. The waiters were rushed and not attentive. Tables were dirty. Staff got the orders wrong and food was delayed.
My only complaint is the meat was not really seasoned. A few pieces are other then that no seasoning.
It's a great place for BBQ! The price is good! Will come back for sure. Can't believe there are so many bad reviews here.
Called to check and see what time they close for NYE and was told we were okay to walk in, that last call is for 8pm, and that they close at 9pm. Got there at 7: 15pm to be turned away because they just decided to close.
They have a policy where they charge extra ($31 for dinner) if you leave any leftover food (for all-you-can-eat). And, if you do get charged extra, they then charge extra on top of that with the taxes and tip.
Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Go to some other KBBQ instead.
This place is good, service is good, but not the fastest. Either way the meat was great which is the main point. The seaweed rice was good too. I’ll come back!
Amazing food! Everything feel fresh. This our favorite Korean BBQ place. The service is fast, multiple servers are always walking around making sure we are being serve. Food comes out fast.
Unorthodox for KBBQ.
Everything about this place is weird. The kimchi fried rice comes wrapped in foil and you grill it at the table. Assorted veggies don't come standard. Lettuce for wrapping your meat is upon request and costs extra. The meat selection is limited. The grills also accumulate residue faster than I've ever seen at any KBBQ, causing the meat to stick constantly. Not a good experience though I appreciate there being AYCE kbbq in the area. Wouldn't take someone on a date here and I'd feel embarrassed taking a group of friends here.
Don’t even want to give one star. Not real Korean bbq. If someone wants K-BBQ, must go to Santa Clara! Don’t waste your money. $30.99=low quality? Omg!
The worst experience at the end of the year. They mixed all kind of meat on the plate. All the plates got cracked. Servers are not professional, using phone, talking, not taking care of the customers. I’m not being picky, and I didn’t even expect they would work like experts. But at least, if they work at the restaurant, try to be professional. Even foods were so low quality, and smell a lot, especially beef brisket. During i work at Hospitality industry, ive never seen this kind of services. You had better train the servers again. Only one guy who wear the glasses was good.
We just had lunch there yesterday. We didn't look at reviews before we went and just decided to try it yesterday when we happened to be in the area. I'm surprised to see all the bad reviews on map.
First we were greeted by the waiter at the front desk. He was pretty busy, but he's nice and courteous, and seated us down as soon as he can. This was the first time we came, so we asked about the all you can eat lunch and the waiter patiently answer all our questions. We decided to get the all you can eat lunch, which is reasonable priced and with all selection we can order. We can order five items each time, and order more as we go. It's Korean BBQ so we were served raw meat and we cook it ourselves at the table. The meat all looked good and fresh. They have choices of different cuts of chicken, pork, beef and seafood, plus variety of soup, rice, etc. Food was plentiful, service was fast and friendly. We all enjoyed our food very much. They charge dinner at a slightly higher price, which is understandable and it's still quite reasonable. There is also more for choice at dinner price.
Overall it's good food, excellent value and very good service. We'll definitely come back again. I give this 5 stars.
They are buying the review with ice cream. Review for free ice cream!
ALSO TERRIBLE SERVICE. FOOD VIOLATIONS. LOOK AT THE REVIEWS
Middle school cafeteria meets Korean BBQ. Only thing missing is a whistle around the lunch lady’s neck. Seriously, the staff was practically running carts of empty plates between tables. Wait staff had all the personality of Nurse Rached with less patience.
Now onto the food. A menu with only a buffet style ordering taped to the wall. Chicken and beef plopped onto a single plate in a blob. Grill leaking grease onto floor.
Awful. Don’t eat here. Anyone rating this place 5 stars either works there or perhaps hasn’t recovered from Covid’s loss of taste and smell. Yuck.
Been coming here for over 6 years and somehow the service keeps getting worse and worse with every visit. I tip well and I don't understand where the staff gets off by messing up my order, being rude and just not asking if I need water. Never again
If you want to come here because of the special price you see from the outlet flyer, it is a trap. It was Thursday evening - not a holiday. We brought them an outlet flyer and confirmed the price with host twice before having a seat, they did not honor it at the end. They would trick you to pay premium price. They acted like it customers' fault that customer did not get informed. It ruin our happiness. How do you want to feel at the end of the day!
Very bad service. Charged 18% tip by default. So you can not reduce the tips due to their bad service
Offer special from SF premium outlet. If never say on the sign you need to get a coupon. Once, you get there either you pay the full price or go back to the Outlet and obtain the coupon. What a JOKE!
We enjoyed our meal. The all-you-can-eat menu $31 had a lot of our favorites. The short ribs were my favorite. It would have been better if they marinated the meats. The two little thing of sauces didn't do it for me. There's this seaweed rice bowl where you can make your own onigiri (rice balls). Fun! Good job staff at Seoul Jung.
