13My girlfriend loves this place, the people are very friendly, she always gets what shes looking for.
This was my first time ever visiting or making a purchase at a Sephora. I was very happy to find all items I desired in stock. I do not live near a standalone Sephora or even in CA. I was traveling. I got home to OR and got out my items to apply. To realize I was sold a $24 box with no product in it. When I reached out online I was told they could not help as it was an in store purchase. Then told I could not go to the Sephora in Kohls about 45 mins away from me either. I wonder if the associate simply just taking a moment and checking the boxes at check out would help avoid this kind of issue. I am not the proud owner of a $24 box.
I gifted my newly teenage daughter a beauty lesson at Sephora for her birthday and she had a wonderful experience! She was glowing and I could tell she felt beautiful and confident after the appointment. Dominique took great care of us. We will definitely be back!
My daughter and I were there and had a great girls' shopping experience. The gals there are friendly and helpful.
The young lady who checked my things was very friendly, gave extra opinions on our items, and was also funny!

If I could do negative numbers I would. Made appointment to get make up tips for 30 minutes. Showed for appointment and was promptly told it was not enough time. I only wanted make up tips not total skin care routine. After 10 minutes of back and forth. I agreed and left. Icing in the cake was her telling me that k was not listening to her - when actually I had to repeat myself 4 times because she was not hearing that I did not want total skin care. Went to Folsom from Elk Grove. I should have asked for them to reimburse me for gas.

Had an extremely disappointing experience at this location today. One of the workers with red/ginger hair shoved my friend out of the way as we were shopping. That alone was off putting and upsetting but then this employee hits me with a drawer as i’m looking at perfume without saying “excuse me” or “i’m sorry” and basically acting as if I don’t exist. Even when we first walked in she was completely unfriendly and unwelcoming, yet for some reason I noticed with white/caucasian customers she was very attentive and friendly. I regret not saying anything when it happened I think I was just in shock when it occurred as I have never experienced treatment like this at a Sephora.
I just love being followed by multiple employees and profiled because of the way I look lol. Just another reminder why I only shop online which sucks because nothing beats the in store experience. What really made my day was the main lady who followed me and her face when she wrung me up and saw that I was a level Rouge. I've spent thousands of dollars at this company every year for years. Stop profiling people who dont look like a Malibu barbie that is a millionaire. DO BETTER SEPHORA.
Stopped by real quick with my cousin from Mexico. It was the coolest thing that Jenny was working who could help with translation and helped my cousin get the mascara she was looking for. Of course, I found a couple of items that I can't wait to try. New liquid eyeliner and a new gel eyebrow pencil. All the staff were super friendly, and we had a very positive experience at this Sephora location
I came in needing help as I am not a person that wears much makeup but x wanted to learn. The staff were extremely helpful and kind and had great suggestions. Very nice store.
The service here is hit or miss. It's been better in the past. This last time I was there last week, the associates looked bored and offered no help. Next time I will travel farther to the Arden location for better service and more helpful employees. I ended up just ordering the product that I was curious about online and giving the website my $. It's a shame because if I don't like it, I'll return it, and this store could avoid wasted product if they treated customers better and provide genuine help. This is the type of Sephora that gives the company an overall unfavorable reputation- employees who are rude and don't really care about customer needs.
Went in with toddler and the stuff was freindly and helpful. They recommended some great clean products and the product was really good.
I walked into the store only to get a mean look by the lady at the door. I wasn't even greeted. There looked to be 5 assocates in the store. Not one of them asked if I was looking for anything. One of them had enough time to fix their own makeup on the floor. All but one of your employees (mixed girl who said bye to me on the way out) made me feel EXTREMELY unwelcomed.
