3First time playing the Encino course. Fun track with tough finishing holes. Great POP finished less than 4.5 hours. Greens were recently punched so they were still healing. Will be back.
For a public course, staff is not that friendly. I was rushed through the line. When I stopped and asked for a players card, there was some attitude, and then I mentioned that I had just moved to California, and the staff ended up being a little nicer. The course is in rough shape with some traps full of weeds. Greens are in good shape, fairways sparse and not well kept. They get a lot of traffic with no marshal to keep the pace. At one point, we had 2 parties sitting at the tee waiting to go. Paid for 18 holes for twilight golf only played through 12 before it got too dark to continue. $14 with $10 cart.
My husband and I enjoy playing here. The course is currently in some disrepair but the price is fair for a round of golf.
