Jocelyn Ibarra is a very kind, patient, fast person with an exceptional attitude.

I was with this Dental office for almost two years and although I had a great experience with the Dental assistants and even the Dentist. My experience with the front desk with Dale has not been a positive experience that I had to leave the office. Dale is dismissive and put no efforts in helping the patients. On more than one occasion I called to ask for assistance on appointments, and finding an orthodontist. The type of responses I got from Dale was dismissive for example "our office doesn't do that" or "our office can't see that" short answers and reluctant to provide more information. As opposed to finding ways to give the patient the best experience, especially when I'm new to Dental procedures and how different office work. I have now worked with other Dental Office's and I see the difference in going above an beyond to ensure that the patient experience is a positive one. Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry has not provided this for me and the Office Manager did not make me feel as my complaint was taken seriously. I left very unhappy and unsatisfied with the services your office has provided, and this could have been different.

As you can tell by the response below they think that by responding with here call us, to my review it's going to put a bandaid on it. Clearly it's just to a plot address they're bad reviews. I won't be contacting your office, as office Manager Arturo shows the same lack of accountability and follow up as Dale.

I've been coming to this office for a few years, and everyone has always been helpful and nice. I have had a few different dentists over time, and all were good. But I have to say my current primary, Dr. Hobbs is the best. Deft hands and a good chair-side manner.

Very helpful in achieving a much needed root canal. Support staff was second to none. Care was empathetic and professional. Attention to pricing was thorough and they personally contacted my insurance. Dr. Fedor did an awesome job on my crown and Dr. Chang’s attention to detail with my root canal was relieving and inspired confidence.

Very professional staff, clean and state of the art equipment. Very attentive.

Disappointed.
My first appointment last year with Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry went well, but they dropped the ball on the most recent appointment. I scheduled my appointment at least a month ago. I know they tend to be fairly booked, so I intentionally gave myself plenty of time to book an appointment before I move. I told them that my insurance had changed since my previous appointment, and I provided all of the information. They told me everything looked fine and that they accepted my insurance.

I was called this morning, the day of my appointment, and told that I needed to sort something out with my insurance or they could not see me. I needed to call my insurance to have them reassign me to the Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry Office. I tried, but my insurance told me that Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry is not up to date with their credentials, so they were unable to transfer me. If Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry had done their due diligence when I scheduled this appointment, they likely could have told me then that they would not accept my insurance. I would have had time to find another dental office. Now I have very limited time to schedule an appointment in-network before I move and my insurance ends.

I recently had my first appointment with Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry and was very impressed with Dr. Fedor and her team (Del and Arturo), both from a care AND customer service standpoint. Dr. Fedor establishes great rapport, listens to your comments and concerns then offers practical solutions. I didn't feel pressured into any questionable procedures or work. The cost of what I needed was reviewed and explained before I agreed to anything. Lastly, the name includes "Modern Dentistry" because it's a genuinely modern / technology-driven organization. I highly recommend Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry.

My daughter and I were new patients of the office and transitioning from a not so great dental experience. The office is very high tech and offered a comfortable setting. The staff is super friendly and the dentist is great. I was able to get my cleaning and dental work done in the same visit. The assistant even put movies on for my daughter while she waited.

I just Want to say how incredible Jocelyne Ibarra is, she's very patient and communicates perfectly with every step in the process! Her customer skills are amazing and her positive attitude really makes the visit more comfortable.

I was super excited to be a new patient because I have terrible luck with dentists especially since I have only resided in San Diego for 2 years now. Everything went smoothly with the xray technician and Dr. Fedor. They were going to schedule my cleaning the same day and I was happy not having to go back for a 2nd appointment, until Arturo (office manager) came in and assisted me with incorrect information saying I needed a "deep cleaning all around" even though I told him that Dr. Fedor only mentioned one side. He gave me a price and then came back and said I was correct and then switched the total price which was actually more expensive which made no sense. The attitude he had already because I was asking questions and not trusting him was sad. I walked out because I am not giving my money and/or rest of my time to a dental office who can't be professional and give out correct information. I was expecting a phone call from someone to see if they are able to help the situation but they did not care and did not contact me so I will for sure be moving on.

We really like this office. Front office, dentists, hygienists, assistants - everyone is competent and friendly. When work is needed it’s very straightforward, they show me the issue on a high-res monitor and recommend a treatment - no selling, no pressure. I also appreciate their investment in technology, on my first visit their high resolution digital imaging system found cracks in a painful tooth that another dentist couldn’t. The images were very high res - I could clearly see the issue. Crowns are made on-site while you wait and fit perfectly with little to no adjustment. Root canals are really impressive, real-time digital measurement ensures the precise depth is reached - no more, no less to fully remove the nerve. I don’t enjoy dental work but no longer dread it.

I love this office! They do excellent work always! Whether it's a cleaning or a Crown etc. I highly recommend Serra Mesa Modern Dentistry! VeryHappy Patient

Well if u work here this is what they care about their workers? ! If u a patient the front office and manager want help u.dale who is horrible hung up on me and did not know they have a whole app.the real people who either own do not care how front office treat staff!
