What can I say about Setter College and Chris Austin? A lot! Chris is an amazing young man who has turned his dreams into reality with hard work, diligence, compassion and a make-it-happen attitude. We met Chris at a BVB tourney in Florida and have been in contact ever since. He texts my kids regularly to check in on them, motivate them, and give them pointers. They are so lucky to have a mentor like Chris and I consider myself his go-to Florida mom and would do anything to help him, just like he does for everyone else. His work ethic is unstoppable, as is his mindset. If you aren't connected with or following Chris and Setter College, you're missing out!

Chris is a great coach and I have already improved tremendously just after two sessions. I get a full body workout and learn new techniques every time I go.

Chris P. Is a phenomenal coach to my daughter, Stella. Covers all the basics on the beach then plays his heart out. At the end of every session, my daughter asks for another one. He’s worth it!

We heard about Chris from a friend who is very knowledgeable of the volleyball scene in the South Bay. Chris is a great fit for my daughter, he is a clear communicator, he is encouraging and has great positive energy but firm if needed. His facility is amazing, brand new and with lots of extras, like a strength training room and a mental workshop room. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Chris and improve her skills!

Setter College provides awesome well-rounded coaching and private lessons. I've been playing volleyball recreationally and competitively for ~8 years, but never had a private lesson before Setter College. I knew I wanted to work on certain parts of my game, and Setter College is helping me get there; you're never too young or old to get coaching if there's something you want to consciously improve on!

Things I noticed when working with Setter College:
(1) Chris and Lynn are quick to respond to any questions I have regarding appointments and any concerns I had.
(2) Before my first session, Chris asked me what I wanted to work on and focused the drills and coaching around what I wanted to improve on. Really nice to see personalized sessions focused on what you think you need + their professional suggestions.
(3) Chris makes the most out of the appointment time. He moves quickly, but explains everything in detail and focuses on what you want to improve on with well thought out drills and coaching. His technical depth and knowledge was awesome.

I appreciate how seriously Setter College takes improvement and progress. Can't wait to get more coaching from Setter College in the future.

The beach volleyball clinics that Chris and his Setter College crew have put on have been very educational and 100% welcoming. I never played volleyball before and felt nervous. Chris is patient and made me very comfortable. I like the way he structures training but it is really fun at the same time. I look forward to learn more and get better.

Chris did an amazing job coaching my brother and I! Showed us many different techniques to the volleyball game that I’d never knew! Before I took a lesson with Chris in the beginning of October I was competitively competing at the A level. And not thanks to the very technical details Chris provided I’m now able to compete at the Open level with the knowledge I have now thanks to Chris! Can’t wait to hopefully play against him one day in an AVP!
