I called to order a part that was not available on the website for the new surgery I just purchased. Corey helped me over the phone, he gave me free shipping, he honored a promotion code I had from the website (storefronts don’t do that as a rule) and he followed up every step of the way. I will definitely be doing business with them again.
I've been trying to purchase a new machine. Made an appointment only for a no show from sales person. Other sales people either never heard of new machine or had no details to conversation. I ask them to have said sales person call me. So today I called this morning, said he was out delivering so I ask again to have him call me when he got back. Still no call. What is so difficult about good customer service.
It was a great trip to Sewing Mavhines Plus. The store is bright and light. Their inventory is well stocked.
I placed a repair for my serger machine. I wasn’t sure how long it would take them to fix it (to my understanding, they may have other machines to fix as well), but it was almost over a month since I left my serger with them and say they would give me a call, which they haven’t. It also doesn’t make sense to me to even pay the repairs that is close to the same price as buying a new serger machine (around $200-$250). This will only be one time that I’ll ever get any of my machines fixed at this place.
Not really too impressed at this point with them. Ordered a longarm quilting machine and frame combo. Order was almost shipped wrong due to wrong item number coding in their system, but luckily caught in time to be corrected. Packages came heavily damaged and was told to not refuse delivery (later seeing that by accepting delivery if it had been damaged, refund would have been delayed until shipping company paid claim per their website). A wheel was missing from the carriage which means that the machine can not be used until the wheel is installed. I am on day two of trying to get a return call from customer support as I can't actually get through to a person that can give any answers. Very frustrated at this point. Even tried calling Handi Quilter direct.still no luck.

I usually get good service here but.today I received amazing service from Lynn. I purchased a new serger and she showed me how to thread it and pick out the correct thread. She offered great suggestions and offered classes to attend. Thanks Lynn!

Placed an order for embroidery thread over a month ago. I inquired about my order when it hadn't shipped after 3 weeks. A couple colors of thread were on backorder so they weren't going to ship until they had everything. Asked them to ship what they had. Another couple weeks go by and I ask about my order again. They ship a few more spools of thread but will not reply to my emails. 6 weeks after the initial order, I still don't have a complete order or an idea of when I will. I (stupidly) ordered from them again and specifically only purchased colors that were listed in stock. The next day I received a notification that items were on backorder. I emailed and asked for them to cancel the order and refund the rest of the first order. No response. Instead of cancelling, they shipped another partial order. I will be initiating chargebacks with my bank.
I got ripped off here. I ordered a case for my embroidery machine arm on the website. In the first place, the order process on the website is terrible and wouldn't go through, so I ended up having to call them on the phone. The worst place was: they claimed they only ship by Fed Ex so I paid the cost of shipping by Fed Ex, AND THEN THEY USED THE POST OFFICE! Considerably LESS expensive. When I called to complain, they were VERY RUDE. Still haven't give me back the cost of shipping by Fed Ex vs the post office. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS PLACE AGAIN. Wish you could give them *less* than one star.
They are so amazing! They are fully stocked for any of your sewing needs and they even taught me how to properly thread my machine! I'm new to sewing and was having real trouble with properly threading. They were so nice and ready to help! I believe her name was Linda! Thanks so much again!
I enjoy using the machine. Love the automatic thread cutter and the quarter inch foot, Its the most accurate one I have used.
