Shabu-shabu Restaurant Shabuya reviews
15Solid AYCE hotpot. Six different soup bases, buffet of veggies, seafood, and noodles. Self service sauce bar. Appetizers, beef, chicken, and pork are ordered through the server. You get 90 minute to dine. Try the soju capri suns, they come in various flavors in a clear pouch with a light up cube, for those who are into that. Draft beers on tap. Very popular place so add yourself to the waitlist if you’re within 5 miles of the restaurant. Highly recommend.
We were seated right away on a Sunday night for a party of 4. If it wasn't for someone leaving when we arrived at the parking lot, we would have had a difficult time finding parking. I have a hate and love relationship with the measuring of the height of the kids because some kids are tall and are not the age they seem to appear. Once we got seated and ordered, the drinks and the rest of the food came out quick. I loved that people kept coming by to pick up the trays of the meat that were empty and not letting them just pile up. The waiter kept checking up on us and making sure we were OK. This is our 2nd time at this location, and so far, so good.
Restaurant with a simple but tasty spread. Meats are awesome and all the broth are well flavored.
The pot boils very slowly, I guess this is the stategy to let people eat less. The qualitynof meat is not great anyway.
All you can eat and not stingy with the meat. The server Lucien was super attentive. The sauces were bad and had very limited choices. Would come again because of the awesome meat plates that kept coming really fast.
Horrible service under staff restaurant needs improvement manager cursed at us server took so long to bring out our food service is no good at this place this was are first bad service
Recently saw this place on social media, and I was interested in checking it out. I'm always on the hunt for new hot pot restaurants, and this perfectly fit the bill. I usually tend to lean towards all you can eat restaurants.
Coming from San Francisco, we decided to check the wait list before we left. Since the drive is about 45 minutes, getting on the waitlist through Yelp was very easy. By the time we arrived and found parking we only had to wait about 5 minutes.
When we were seated, the restaurant wasn't completely full so maybe we just came on a day they weren't too busy. Ordering is pretty simple. Main meats and snack items are ordered through your server, but there is a whole bar with vegetables, seafood, starches, and other small items. They also have an area for sauces.
We kept getting different flavored karaage chicken, But honestly we couldn't tell the difference between some of the ones that had sauce on them.
I think my favorite meats were the beef toro and the premium ribeye. It definitely seemed that they were enforcing the 90 minute limit, but services pretty quick so you don't really have to wait long for items.
All-you-can-eat restaurant concept where quantity takes precedence over quality, but which offers a nice atmosphere for groups. It's not very interesting to go alone.
All these boiling broths, and the hard wooden benches, create a slightly unpleasant atmosphere.
Friendly staff to explain the concept to you.
This place has excellent food at a great price. It's an AYCE spot where you can eat reasonably.
I arrived at 5: 00 and there was no wait. Easy walk from the Hilton. Ordered the miso base and two meats. Filled the pot with some greens and away we go! Everything was very fresh and tasty!
This place made me learn how to eat Shabu Shabu before I went to Osaka in June 2023; the quality of the ingredients are perfect, and the employees care about their customers/patrons. Unfortunately, by the time you are reading this message, I am in Oregon State University at Corvallis; I am hoping to return to this place to eat more with my family and friends.
Most Korean AYCE have a time limit and it’s understandable. However, if a server grabs your bowl while you’re eating without even asking then that just being rude plain and simple. He could have asked nicely and that would have been okay. But to just grab it, then management should be training their staff better. Definitely not going back to this branch. The Concord Shabuya is much better. In this area, Super Hot in Mountain View is much better.
Great place all you can eat. Go before 3pm 19.99 for the meal. Great soup and meats. Lots of choices in vegetables.
Food was fresh as always. Service was fast and courteous. Price can't be beat. One thing about the atmosphere, I like electronic music but wow I was surprised at how hard the dubstep was. One song in particular "Name Drop" by Excision and Wooli had explicit lyrics. We looked around the restaurant like wow no one is surprised by this? The other times we went to Shabuya it had a blend of pop or classic rock music. Not this time.
Great food, huge veggie buffet. Got the lunch special with two rounds (4 trays) of meat and a mountain of vegetables and extras from the buffet. Was so full and satisfied! Friend had spicy Miso and I had original. There was already a line when we arrived at lunch opening time lol
