Shadow Mountain Resort & Club, Palm Desert CA

We have enjoyed our stay tremendously! The resort scheduled all our fun tennis matches! Hot tub and large pool were great! This is our second visit!

I'm a member of the tennis club but have not stayed in the resort. My experience has been first class throughout.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I am now a tennis member and the pros are exceptional!
The rooms and the grounds have a feeling of home. Volleyball, badminton and ping pong available to all. The pool is iconic as being a historic landmark as one of the first pools built in Palm desert.
Having drinks and food pool side is the best! Great for families and couples.

I stayed at a unit on Airbnb and it was fantastic. Great location, reasonable prices, fantastic pool and restaurant. And my unit overlooked the tennis courts, the host was very responsive It was wonderful. I will definitely be back.

This is an interesting resort with character. The resort has an interesting history in that Patton's motor pool was stationed on this location during WW2. The resort came after the war and when it was built, it was literally an oasis in a vast desert. The city of Palm Desert sprang up from around this resort.

Lots of famous people have stayed at the Shadow Mountain Resort, including Bing Crosby, who was w regular vacationer. The rooms could use some upgrades, but they are fully functional and relaxing ninetheless. I thought the price fir an evening stay was reasonable.

The swimming pool is amazing. It is a figure 8 pool and it is massive. It reaches a depth of 12 feet, so don't wear your jewelry in it, because that depth is quite a dive if you lose a ring. The water in the pool is climate controlled and is half salt, half chlorine.

The vacationers there are very chill and easy to talk to. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. If we return to Palm Desert, we will stay there again.

Just a solid 5/5. The pool and tennis courts are well maintained, staff for both the front desk (I talked with Phillip!) And pro shop (didn't catch her name but she was awesome) were cordial, and there was nothing to complain about the rooms. Had a blast here!

I'm sorry I went up there because I got a call saying my wife was dieing and got there to late I had to possative ID the body and wait for the coraner to pick her up so please don't expect any good reviews I'm sorry!

Book a kitchenette room next to the tennis courts for weekend of fun on the clay & hard courts. Has a cafe & tennis pro shop. Huge pool with spa.

Great course, very green & maintained. Very strict dress policy-country club only, tucked in shirts, dress shorts, & golf shoes.

This place is amazing I'm here on my birthday, lots to do, it is so relaxing completely amazing like I said°°! LOVE IT
