8Passing through looking for an RV park. Staff so friendly and nice. Told him I’m not great at backing up- even offered to help but he brought me to a pull through site- thank you. Very quiet just a great place to stop for the night!
Quiet campsite and didn't have a sleepless night
Unfortunately, there are many areas for improvement
If you arrive after the reception is closed, you can only spend the night here
In other words, you have electricity and water and that's it
No access to the toilet
No access to the showers
No access to the WiFi
In addition, there is one big mess at the campsite
There are broken cars
The rubbish bins are overflowing with rubbish
There were used tampons and cotton swabs in front of the toilet building
Hygiene is lacking.
I have not visited the other campsites in the area, but I would first try there before choosing this campsite
My husband and I were grateful to find Shady Lane RV camp when we needed a place to park our travel trailer for a few days. The location is great, just a few minutes from the main town of Barstow.
The facilities including showers, bathrooms, and laundry were clean and easy to use.
Don & his son Rob welcomed us with graciousness and kindness. I would give them a 10 plus stars and if we’re back in the area will easily stay there again!

Nice and cheap ANNNND quiet! We showed up super late, the office left all our info for us up front with a drop box for cash for the rate. We were so tired we slept super late and stayed another day. The staff were very understanding and nice to us. There are some permanent residents, there is a Drive In nearby. There are showers and laundry. We liked it here, looked like something out of a David Lynch movie:), which I loved.
If you are accustomed to expensive RV resorts for your multi million dollar RV it may not be for you. But we liked it and will be returning in the future.
The managers here are the best! Sadly the park is really showing it’s age. They squeeze in as many rv rigs as possible in this tiny park and the sites are consequently tight! Not the nicest area either.
When we arrived it looks as though they are in the process of updating. Folks are friendly and it is easy in and easy out. Our neighbor was pretty loud at midnight, but other than that, it was a good stop.
Clean, quiet and safe lam joying my latest stay Daniel and Robert and Melissa are so friendly and helpful. I got 34 ' fithwheel.
Yes this place is older, but they are working on it daily making improvements and the facilities are always very clean and smelling good. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
