Shafter Animal Control

I adopted a stafford terrier. We love him so much. I hired a dog trainer, and it will take a little time, but he is responding to commands. I plan on putting a lot of effort into his training. We renamed him Bugsy Pretty Boy. We call him Pretty Boy. He doesn't seem to have any interest in responding to Bugsy. So Pretty Boy works for us. He is a beautiful stafford terrier. We love him always and forever. When I started to walk out of the kennel area he was secured in, all the dogs barked, but Pretty Boy cried. So that was all it took, I adopted such an amazing fur baby.

First of all get there and wait for over 30 minutes. Trying to figure out If anyone is there working. Then you see someone so you approaches them and say excuse me. And your greeted with why are you yelling at me. And I'm wondering who's he talking to because I knew he wasn't talking to a customer that way. I'm deaf in one ear people never know what's going on with another human they could be haed of hearing or anything It's always great idea to be polite no matter what the case especially when you throw up I'm the manager of this facility. Well back in my days managers that spoke to anyone the way he spoke to us three ladies would not be a manager he basically called us all liars in a roundabout way I understand the population is full with more animals then anyone can handle but when you're dealing with the public I don't care what the circumstances are must be nice caring and humble the customers always right even when they're wrong but you don't stand up there and argue with them and you look at them and say oh you call that location let me call them and you pick up the phone in the woman's face and call the place say well I don't know what the problem is they answered for me so unprofessional you don't like your job maybe there's another one out there that you would love basically it remind me of a 2-year-old having a temper tamper I'm just saying

I read the bad reviews on here and wow, what a bunch of entitled Karens. This is seriously the best shelter in all of Kern. The staff is so professional and knowledgeable on everything from the animals they have to laws in their community! Guaranteed, the people complaining here are liars and were trying to pull a fast one on the shelter staff like taking in animals from Bakersfield. Either way these shelter employees really know their stuff and it was so clean.
