Shakespeare Garden reviews
17Under construction on Valentine's Day weekend, sadly, but a beautiful place nonetheless. I'd be excited to return when the trees are in bloom!
This is a nice little garden to spend a few moments to meditate and to reflect.
It is also very popular for wedding ceremonies.
Lovely little garden with a good cared loans and alley and peaceful atmosphere. Good for the wedding as well as for just enjoying reading a book.
Lol. This was such a let down. Unless you are looking for a shady place to enjoy a picnic. I would just keep walking. It is free though.
We didn't get to stay here long because a wedding was going to start in less than an hour, but we really enjoyed the things we saw. The garden itself is a bit small, but provides for an intimate space (perfect for weddings). It's a tiny but thoughtful tribute to one of the most influential Englisg writers
Nice garden. It was wonderful. Saw a couple stop by and took pictures near the dome area. There were artists singing. Very pleasant ambience. Very beautiful trees and fountains. There were also benches to sit on near by and also a few food trucks selling food. Purchased coffee there for $3 and I saw then selling some odnian food too. Very pleasant.
Nice little place to hang out for a few minutes. It's not a huge garden, but it's really charming in its own way. There are several quotes from Shakespeare on the wall at the back.
Quiet and small area to sit around. Some interesting choices of excerpts and quotes were taken from multiple of the Bard's plays and etched into plates next to him. Worth the read.
This is my favorite spot in all GGP, close second would be stow lake. Both an easy walk from one another. But Shakesphere is a guaranteed awesome photo:)
The "feathery" tree was especially beautiful. Nice, secluded-feeling place to take a break.
We had a nice little wedding here, Beautiful small out of the way part of the park thats not so busy.
Most people don't even know where this place is!
It is truly a gem for solitude, but remember to bring a buddy with you just in case anything happens.
Sometimes you see performers or ceremonies happen here
Good looking garden to stroll around or just to relax. I doubt that a lot of people know the location, it's very peaceful!
It's next to the California Academy of Science. You take a small trail on the right of the museum and keep to your right to get there. It's somewhat secluded and may be hard for tourists to find.
That being said the garden is usually empty. It's the perfect place for anyone to sit down to read or have some quiet time.
I would also recommend this place for pictures. The entrance has a pretty walkway.
It is a great, secluded place to relax and read a book. It is small, but well manicured and maintained. No dogs are allowed, but that helps to keep it quiet and clean.
Very peaceful and green English garden. Peaceful people and wonderful for romantics, this hidden gem hides a very serene lawn and walkway.
Not as much of a flower garden as we expected, but it's a lovely little spot to sit and rest or picnic.
