5Despite the downed toilets is a good place to park at the beginning of Alabama hills.
There's supposedly a 1.7 mile loop around Shark Fin on alltrails but it's more of a road than a hike. The shark fin is very close to the parking area so i'd recommend looking at that and turning back because the hike isn't very exciting.
Bear place for rock climbing seen alot of people come and go as we were camping across the way could see all the climbers I. The shadow of mt Whitney
The shark fin rock is a short easy walk from the parking lot. Popular for climbers, but we just took pictures of it.:)
A short walk and a must-climb for anyone with the necessary skills. The views of Mount Whitney in the distance makes for an incredible backdrop. A great place to watch climbers do their thing for those who prefer two feet on the ground.
