Sharp Rees-Stealy Chula Vista Urgent Care

We went to urgent care today for my daughter, we were there for about 1.5hours from start to end. The staff was so nice, they gave my daughter goldfish snack, water, and a Popsicle! She loved it! Our nurse, Juan was so nice to call us and let us know that we forgot one of the tests that they needed, you don’t usually get a call from urgent care. Thank you. 10/10 experience.

My rating is negative zero but that's not a choice. I was told to go to urgent care by my PCP office only to pay a $75 co pay and be talked to for 5 mins being told that the urgent care resource are to limited so ho back for an appointment with the over booked PCP no treatment done i asked got the return of my co pay and was told no because the doctor layed eyes on me and referred me wow wow and wow still in pain no medication and out $75.00

A bit of a long wait but staff was amazing, helpful, nice, and knowledgeable. Thank you for "fixing" me before Christmas!

The staff was great! The nurse and doctor both listened well to my symptoms and addressed my concerns. I am very pleased with the visit.

I spent four hours at Urgent Care from my arrival time today and the Doctor discharging me.

When I left my house the online wait time estimate was one hour and twenty minutes.

I checked in 11: 40am and the wait was two and a half hours. After those two and a half hours I was brought to a room and I don’t even know how long I waited in that room.

I was discharged at 3: 39pm and unfortunately I was told is not much they can do for my issue.

The doctor was incredibly nice and sweet. She really wanted to help me.

She thought I needed to be seen by a specialist but as slow as the Sharp system has being working tor me the last 6 months I am not holding my breath.

Is the best hospital for any emergencies and they treat you with respect and they all are friendly personal

UPDATE: Urgent care visits minimum cost is $350 be prepared.

The facility is not very clean especially compared to other sharp facilities. The front desk was rude and out right asked if I can afford to pay up to $250 for my visit I said yes. I had a reaction from poison oak the doctor saw me for 5 minutes and prescribed a steroid. I was later billed $509 discounted by my insurance to $357. They will charge you a lot more than they say and there is no justification for it. Go somewhere else.

Additionally the lady in the billing department is very rude, spoke over me and was unable to justify the charge or tell me what a normal urgent care visit costs. After pulling teeth to get them to send me a 1 page itemized bill I found My visit was coded as moderate due to a 45-59minute visit. The doctor saw me for 5 minutes but spoke to me for 30 about how he wanted to learn to fly airplanes after asking what I do for work.

The morning staff was so helpful and kind. The doctor answered all my questions and was very attentive.

Do NOT under any circumstances use this urgent care. I went in for an ear infection on 2 different days the same week and saw 2 different doctors. Because I did not receive proper care either time, I eventually went to another urgent care (downtown SD) ; I was subsequently referred to the ER and then spent a night in the hospital for an ear infection that could have been treated with ear drops if properly treated on the first visit at this location. My insurance bill for my ear infection (ER and 1 night hospital stay) was $20,860! Save yourself - drive the extra 20 minutes to go to the downtown urgent care where you can get actual medical care (and avoid costly medical bills).

I liked how Doctor who attended to me at the Urgent Care took the time to listen to my concerns about my pain.

Exceede my expectation while waiting to be seen by the Dr. The nurse (Sarah) is very caring and made my visit comfortable.

Excellent, genuinely engaged care, never feels detached or by-the-numbers. Medical team and office staff are amazing.

Wait wasn’t bad despite triaging of more urgent patients. Staff is friendly, informative and comforting. I’ll go back to this location when needed

I had a very good experience overall. Here’s why:
-Showed up on a busy morning but had the option to wait in my car and receive a text to come back in.
-The wait time was displayed on a tv in the waiting room which ended up being pretty accurate.
-All staff was a good mix of professional and friendly.

Sharp is first class treatment and I feel so safe in the hands of the doctors and staff. I love sharp

Total wait time was 1 hr. Staff was super nice, courteous and respectful. Nurse was so very understanding and sweet and Dr.was beyond amazing! I felt heard and taken care of.

I was in and out of the urgent in less than 45 mins. Glad that they you can now check the wait times online so you can see which urgent care you can be seen the soonest! Wait time was 20-30 min, but was seen sooner than that! Only thing threw me off was the doctor who saw me was coughing and was not wearing a mask.but overall, very pleased with the service.
