Gas Station Shell reviews
9I tried to get gas here but the credit card reader took my card and it would not come out. I initially thought it was a ploy to steal my card but it's most likely just not maintained properly. There was no attendant so I had to get a screwdriver from my spare tire kit and wedge it out. There are a ton of other gas stations on El Camino with newer equipment and Apple Pay. I'm not going back to this Shell station.
The quality and integrity are unsurpassed. Dave and team have been the trusted mechanics for so many neighbors and for us for years
Attendant was on the phone, I didn't get acknowledged for a long time.
Finally I got service.
Very honest and reputable independent shop who will not try to oversell you anything. Dave and all his team members work hard to make sure you leave happy. Great place for older cars or cars with higher mileage, far surpasses the dealership experience!
Best repair shop EVER. Thank you for fixing my car axel, it was so messed up, my car was shaking at speed 40mph, not fun at all. The repair shop fixed that. They are also very nice and respectful people, totally customer service focused. Thanks!
Great Station. Dave has worked on my very old American made car for the past 6 years. He is a trustworthy and skilled mechanical.
Barron Park Shell has the best mechanic I’ve ever taken my many cars to. The only place I would ever take my car! Honest, direct and to the point, timely, always helpful and informative. I never feel like I’m being ripped off or swindled like some places. AAA approved mechanic shop, works on any car type I’ve had. So popular, they are so busy that I know I’m not the only loyalist they’ve got. Calling ahead is recommend but any time I’ve been broken down they always find room for me. So worth any wait time during the busy season. Loyalist for life.
Hydrogen fuel station malfunctions at 2: 30am so that the alarms wake up our entire neighborhood. It's been going for about 35 minutes now. Do we need to evacuate? Where is the owner of this Shell station while their alarms are ruining everyone's night? How come the fire department has to come take care of YOUR station malfunction? BESIDES THAT, the energy required to produce the hydrogen you are selling is far more than you even get from combustion of the hydrogen - SO DUMB! Don't buy your fuel here.
UPDATE 3: 01AM The fire fighters all have gas masks and air tanks on their backs now. So glad Shell decided to build hydrogen fuel station in this neighborhood. Real safe for a residential area like this. You guys are doing a great job attending to malfunction at your station while not even present and poor fire department has to try to fix problems with your equipment at 3am.
Update 3: 28AM Alarm still going strong. Fire department still here. No sign of Shell personnel.
Update 4: 02AM Alarm just stopped but warning light still appears to be on. Fire department still here. No Shell station owner to be seen.
