Gas Station Shell reviews
9Had a family in a full-size sedan try to scam me for a tank of gas by offering gold rings and other fake jewelry in exchange here.
Excellent clean station and good working equipment. Prices are fine compared with EU where we come from
Standard Shell station charging up the wazoo for everything and putting their own crazy up-charged prices on everything. If you need gas, I’m sorry, but take your other business elsewhere. Bridgeport general store is right down the street.
Other than the extremely high gas prices this is a nice little store. Bridgeport really can’t help the high gas prices because they are in the middle of nowhere at a high altitude and it’s expensive to get tanker trucks. The store has nice clean bathrooms plenty of coffee and lots of snacks. The staff was also very nice.
No problems with the people who work here but this is the most expensive gas station I know of and has been for many years. I drive 395 frequently and often stop here simply to take a pic of their gas prices to shock my friends. I know they basically sell gas for what they get it for but I always make sure to fill up in Carson so I don't have to drop 100+ dollars to fill up a Subaru.
This is officially the most expensive gas I have ever seen in my entire life. Regular is $6.10 a gallon!
I've stopped here many times over the years, and it's almost always a negative experience. It's one of the only places around to stop and as many others pointed out the prices are very high, even for a remote area. Gas prices are astronomical and even snacks and drinks are overpriced. Staff are never friendly, although they have never been particularly rude either. It's fine to stop at on the way through town, but don't expect a warm welcome.
This Shell station is very well cared for, very clean with a robust selection of items in there in their convenience store. They have electronic vehicle charging stations in the rear. Good place to stop. It's California so there are a loto tickets also.
