1 Had a check engine light come on. I was a loyal customer who had gotten an oil change there recently, and had another oil change scheduled for the next day.
Asked the owner if he could check the engine light (a service that every other place does for free) and he said “Sure, if you give me $150 to run the diagnostic. ”
I found this to be crazy since his employee had diagnosed a check engine light for me a few months earlier for free.
I know it’s because I’m in a nice car, he thought he could steal $150 from me. I went down the street to O’Reilly’s auto parts, and they ran the light for free.
Not only is this the dirtiest and most unprofessional shop in town, they’re also the most expensive. Go figure.
As far as the oil change went, multiple day hassle which required me to buy my own oil, filter and oil pan screw.
Never take a vehicle here.
