We heard good things about the surf lessons and they did not disappoint. It was our first time ever trying to surf. Stu and Connor got all three of the kids up on boards ages 8,6,3. They really made it a fun experience. Super good vibes. Certainly plan to do it again.

My son Jack had his first surfing lesson today and he had an amazing time. He’s 18 years old and has autism and other challenges. Stu was kind and patient; modeling clearly what he wanted Jack to do. This first lesson was about introducing him to the board, building a relationship with him and making sure he had fun. He had Jack practice on the sand for a little while, laying on the board and then popping up and getting into the proper position. Out in the water Stu helped him stand up on the board and held onto him, making sure he was confident before letting go. Jack was delighted to find himself moving through the water on his own, if even for only a few seconds. He can’t wait to go back next week!
