I sought out Shelley because I have always had an interest understanding what color season I am and would get confused when certain cool or warm colors worked well for me. I am a young professional entering the workforce, and Shelley really helped me understand which colors make me shine right before I left for an important business trip! She made me feel at home and walked me through the process of how color matching works, as well as how I can discern between clothes to pick the ones that will flatter me best. Shelley's years of experience and thorough guidance has already given me an amazing return - shopping for clothes is so much more efficient now, and she is always a text away whenever I am in doubt! I will definitely be returning to Shelley for her expertise.

I had the good fortune to work with Shelley as my image consultant as I prepared to speak at TEDx Pleasanton earlier this month.
Shelley was highly responsive to my initial outreach and we scheduled time to speak right away. She was easy to work with and gave me great advice on how to select a look that was modern yet within my comfort zone, and contrasted well with the TEDx stage and lighting. For example, adding black pearl buttons to my usual white formal shirt, wearing steel grey fitted jeans instead of usual formal black/blue trousers, and splurging on medium brown shoes with a toe fade and a matching brown belt instead of falling back on my usual black ones.
She then got the shirt and jeans custom made for me, and worked with me to do the measurements on Zoom as I could not visit her in person due to an unexpected overseas trip.
On the day of the TEDx event, Shelley was by my side, making sure I looked my best (e.g. Using double sticky tape to hold my collar and belt in place). Her kindness and attention to detail gave me that extra boost of confidence I needed, and I was able to focus 100% on delivering my message on the TEDx stage.
Last but not least, she has offered to redo my outfit for free because the measurements were slightly off!

On our shopping trip she was well prepared having lined up fitting rooms with pre-selected pieces ahead of time and did her homework on sizing so that the day was targeted, productive, and worth my time as a busy professional. After an airline lost my luggage on my first oversees trip since having a baby, I found myself desperately shopping for clothes in a foreign country and for a different body that I did not know how to dress. Let's just say there were a lot of tears involved. That was my sign.

Shelley came highly recommended by a former colleague and so I contacted her for help revamping my look post-partum and post-COVID. I was finding that I no longer fit in to most of my pre-baby clothes and with a return-to-office date approaching, I needed a lot of help.  Shelley is an absolute EXPERT in what she does. From the color consultation to the shopping to the put-it-together coaching, she made my revamp totally FUN and educational (which is miles from where I started: depressed and lost).

Shelley has an excellent eye for color and composition. She is up to date on current trends but knows how to work with and around them to find what suits her clients best. She also knows when to push a little and when to back down, which can be a tricky thing to balance.

The wardrobe Shelley helped me craft is absolutely beautiful and I feel GREAT wearing all of the pieces. I can happily report that my confidence in shopping has skyrocketed, and I actually look forward to doing it now being armed with the knowledge of what looks good on me.

Shelley was a total professional. If you don’t know what you’re doing with clothes and fashion, you must hire Shelley to redesign you! We started out with a zoom consultation where she clearly explained the process and what I could expect. Next, she came to my house and we did a full color analysis and then went to my closet and looked at everything in my wardrobe, getting rid of the stuff that didn’t look great. She sent me links to the kinds of makeup that I should buy that would look great with my color palette as well as other clothes care items like shoe trees — along with links to videos of how to use these items that are so foreign to me! Then we planned to meet for a shopping trip — she went shopping for me without me on one day and on the following day we went back together to those stores where she already had the dressing room stocked with all of her picks. We were able to get right to it and try everything on, getting rid of the stuff that didn’t look great and keeping the rest. I had a budget for what I wanted to spend which I thought was generous, but so many of Shelley’s finds were amazing that I bought double or triple my original budget because they were must haves. So many items that I would never have known would look good on me. She’s even following up with another zoom consultation so that I can get coaching on how to style these amazing clothes. Everything that I’ve got now is beautiful and fits great. And the whole process was so much fun! Thanks to Shelley, I feel much more confident to become the organizational leader that I want to become!
