The hotel seems to have older buildings. The room that we were in has renovated bathroom but the bedroom itself was rather dark. The room (with 2 double beds) has decent size for a family of 3. The beds were comfortable and nice. The swimming pool was decent size. There is self parking area around the hotel with some access doors at the back. The location is very convenient as it’s right next to the Palo Alto Caltrain & bus station. It was also couple minutes away to walk to downtown Palo Alto with plenty restaurants & shops. It’s also close enough to Stanford shopping center (about 15 mins walking).

Internet sucks. Can’t even have a decent zoom call. Worse place for business traveler’s. Food is normal. Except location, nothing to rave about this property.

Excellent location. Pillows a bit too soft for my liking. But the showers and bathroom experience more than makes up for it.

My fave local hotel in a quite convenient location - a very short walk from downtown. Great bar, excellent breakfast buffet, warm pool, lovely staff.

The old white man with black glasses is the worst, unprofessional, rude, 0 respected, flipped eyes on us. By the way hotel is nice

Way over priced for what you get. Nothing open at night. Did not get breakfast that we paid for. Front desk was no help at all.

Staff accommodating but can take a while to process requests. Only noise that can be heard was the people walking by in the corridor. Room is quite nice.

The walls are paper thin - you can hear exact words of people talking in the hallway and even the room next door. I can hear my neighbor coughing. If you are a light sleeper you will suffer. The location is great if you are needing to go to Stanford. The best part of this hotel is the large shower - great water pressure. The breakfast is $22/person but is all you can eat and decent. Staff is lovely. The grounds are decent. Overall, like anything else in this area, it is extremely over priced for what you get. We were charged over $500/night and additional $20/day to have a car in the lot that they don’t check for and is open at all times

I had a pleasant stay at the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel is close to Stanford University, the Cantor Arts Center, and the Computer History Museum. The hotel has a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, a heated outdoor pool, and a business center.

This place is just the best from the entrance all the way to housekeeping. Amazing people and place. I planned on staying only one week and I ended up staying 3weeks. My kids had a blast! It's one of the best places I have ever stayed. The security is right on task. There's plenty of parking with accessible doors to all parking lots. The pool is so nice and warm. I love the food and the night life. It was a wonderful stay.

Service is bad. Though the location is perfect. I reserved four nights, the room is so noisy, I have to checkout tomorrow to change a hotel

Hotel needs a facelift. Decent sized property. Still fairly nice, but it’s just old and outdated. Wallpaper is peeling, everything is brown in color. Wood furniture is very dark. Not much water pressure in shower. For me, I got in late, fell asleep and left first thing in the morning. Not bad for that kind of situation. If I was staying any longer than that, I’d stay next door at Westin.

Not the most equitable or safe stay for me and my colleague (Black and Latino). At check-in I requested a higher floor for safety reasons and was told there were no rooms available that evening but I could be moved to a higher floor the next day. The following day I was informed by more competent staff that there were in fact higher floor rooms available on the day of my request but could no longer switch to a new room due to the hotel being at capacity. Further, security banged on our door while we were preparing for bed, to state a noise complaint had been filed due to the TV. (The TV was at the same volume the previous night.) After this we received a phone call. I spoke to management the next day to ask the procedure for noise complaints— it was call first then send security. (I’ll add here that at the time of check-in the same individual who could not accommodate our room request stated that security could assist with our bags—security did not emerge to assist.)
Overall our stay was lackluster— the lack of attention to our safety based requests and the honoring of a noise complaint could appear to have origins in systemic prejudice. However, our interactions with Elaine, Joseph, and other staff that shared in our cultural competency were preeminent—-suggesting that this location has promise for improvement.

Very nice hotel and loved the decor and bathroomshower! Some rooms can be a bit far from check-in but the overall hotel is great and convenient to Stanford’s campus and eateries in downtown Palo Alto.

Had a terrific experience at this hotel. Great facility in a fantastic location. Staff were outstanding, in particular when I became extremely unwell at the end of my stay and they were incredibly accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

Sheratan Palo Alto offers a tranquil and comfortable retreat amidst the bustling city of Palo Alto. From its convenient location to its welcoming atmosphere, this hotel provides an enjoyable stay for both business and leisure travelers.

The first thing that impressed me about Sheratan Palo Alto was its prime location. Situated in the heart of Silicon Valley, it offers easy access to major technology companies, Stanford University, and a variety of restaurants and shops. Whether you're visiting for work or exploring the area, this hotel serves as an excellent base for your activities.

Upon entering the lobby, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff members who were eager to assist with any inquiries or requests. The check-in process was swift and efficient, allowing me to settle into my room promptly. The hotel staff consistently maintained a high level of professionalism and ensured that all my needs were met during my stay.

The guest rooms at Sheratan Palo Alto are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. My room featured a comfortable bed with crisp linens, a work desk, and a cozy sitting area. The modern decor and tasteful furnishings created a pleasant ambiance. Additionally, the room was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, ensuring a convenient and enjoyable stay.

One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's outdoor pool area. Surrounded by lush greenery, it provided a serene and relaxing environment. The pool was well-maintained and offered a refreshing respite after a long day. The adjacent fitness center was also well-equipped with modern exercise equipment, allowing guests to stay active during their stay.

Sheratan Palo Alto boasts a few dining options that cater to a range of tastes. The on-site restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of hot and cold options. The menu featured both local and international cuisine, ensuring there was something for everyone. However, I found the dining options for lunch and dinner somewhat limited, and exploring nearby restaurants might be a better choice for those seeking more diverse culinary experiences.

In terms of service, Sheratan Palo Alto excelled in providing prompt and efficient assistance. Housekeeping was thorough and timely, ensuring that the rooms were always clean and well-maintained. The hotel staff was also helpful in arranging transportation and providing recommendations for local attractions.

One aspect where Sheratan Palo Alto could improve is the availability of parking. While the hotel offers parking facilities, it can be limited during peak times. However, the staff was accommodating in providing alternative parking options nearby.

Overall, Sheratan Palo Alto offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay with its prime location, friendly staff, and well-appointed rooms. Whether you're in Palo Alto for business or leisure, this hotel provides a relaxing oasis amidst the vibrant city. With a few minor improvements, it has the potential to become an even more exceptional choice for visitors to the area.

It's cheap but not really an efficient place. No phone chargers to borrow. No bar that is open late. No social feel.just rooms and a pool. Beautiful vegetation and decorating though

One star only because they don't offer drinking water in the rooms. You have to ask for it at the reception and they sell it to you separately.
