7Update: (1) I have another place a Sheriff could sit and patrol. Right by the City Hall in BBL. I was making a right out of my property the other day. A red two door car was passing in a non passing lane. He was driving down my lane from the City Hall going past the field where the old drive-in theater was; going towards Boulder Bay. The truck and car would not let him back in the lane. I literally came so close to getting my right side slammed by this car. Honestly; if I didn't stop like I did; I would have been dead! (2) They should be around the schools when parents are dropping off and picking up their kids from school. People are driving too fast past BBMS and parents need to slow down also.
Big Bear sheriff came thru for me and my girl. Came back off-roading and the gate was closed. They came and cut the lock awesome people
This department is TOP NOTCH. I have been so impressed with every interaction I have had with every member of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Department when I have had to depend on them to help me through some conflicts that happened in Big Bear. God bless them. These are what policemen should be like.
I just called as it appeared someone was breaking into my vacation home in Moonridge. They sheriff responded very quickly and was able to stop and question the guy. It turns out that he was a brand new worker for the local vacation rental company. But the efficiency at which the Sheriff responded was amazing! He even called me to let me know. I would give the Big Bear Sherriff dept. 10 stars if I could! Thank you to all of you there! Jim
Deputy Sheriff Tim Bolin arrived within the hour of calling to report firewood theft and a bb in a window. He was very professional, but yet very congenial. We chatted like family.

Came to our cabin for the weekend and both carbon monoxide alarms were sounding. Called this number and they dispatched the fire department to investigate. Ended up being a false alarm, but I have the peace of mind knowing the family is safe. Thank you for your fast and friendly response. Much appreciated.
