Sherlock Leak Detection, Chatsworth CA

Please be wary of this guy! I was charged $350 for Ron to show up at my house (at the incorrect time) and he spent literally no more than 5 minutes diagnosing the leak on the side of my house.

Long story short, his diagnosis was COMPLETELY incorrect and due to his advice, I had the plumbing company cut the wrong pipe.

I now have no water going to the hose bib on the side of my house, and the plumbing company had to come out three more times to fix the correct pipe.

I still had to pay $350 and Ron didn't seem to care at all, and he didn't even attempt to offer a partial refund after his screw-up. Now I have no hose water being supplied on the side of my house: (

I have a Flume water monitor and it detected a small leak that was running 24/7. I checked everything in and outside my house and could not find anything leaking. I called Sherlock and they came out the next day, Amit was my service tech. He was great, easy to communicate with and did a great job finding the leak. He had a bunch of different tools and techniques to track down the leak. Turns out a tree in my yard grew into my main water line coming into the house. It was deep in the ground so I never saw water in the area. Amit located the area where he thought the leak was and put a blue X mark. Next day a plumber dug up the dirt and found the leak right were Amit put the X mark. Great service and happy I used Sherlock.

THE BEST! I have a leak that 3 different plumbing companies could not find. I then was recommended to Sherlock Leak Detection and they have all the RIGHT EQUIPEMENT to properly analyze and detect the leak. The representative Amit was SUPER knowledgeable, professional and was able to find the leak under pavers and grass. It was impressive that he knew about plumbing and the sprinkler system as well.i would 100% recommend this company. I also forwarded their business card to 2 friends of mine for future need.

I had a slab leak and the plumber advised me to call a leak detector to determine the location of the leak. I called Sherlock on the weekend and asked if they could come on Monday. He came on Monday, on time and completed the job in about an hour. He marked the pipe path with tape and we marked an X where he determined the source of the leak was. Turns out he was off by 4", excellent detection (well in the range of where the plumber had to break the concrete). He also marked where we could re-route the pipe if we wanted to go that route. The charge was $300 as he quoted.
