Sherman Oaks Galleria reviews
17 Once a great and iconic landmark of the '80s and '90s and serving as a symbol for a generation, SOG is a shaddow of its once greatness.
There is literally nothing to do there
I will never go back to CheeseCake Factory. The place is just awful and getting worse.
There seems to be a lot of office spacevavailable. But why anyone would want their office there is a bazzaar idea?
Also, they over charged me forvparking even though the validation had notbyet expired.
The only cool thing about this mall is that the horror film “Chopping Mall” was filmed here.
It’s a strange “mall” it’s mostly made up of restaurants and offices along with a movie theater, 24hour fitness, hair school, and Burke Williams. There are several empty stores making feel like a ghost town.
Unless you're getting a $4 deal, FORGET IT. Staff was nice and popcorn was good, but this place is showing its age. Poor lighting makes everything seem dirty, and the snack area and our theater were HOT AS heck! Miserable when filled with patrons!
This IS the location that Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Chopping Mall were filmed, however, this is NOT the same mall. The original iconic mall from the 80s was was damaged in an earthquake in the late 80s and almost completely torn down and rebuilt. Only the 3 story circular section SLIGHTLY still resembles the scenes from Fast Times that looks across from the Pizza shop to the old Theater (which is NOT the new theater). Nostalgic, slightly, but not really.
This is a small put good place to shop at stores that fit your needs also have good eating spots as well
Terrible parking structure. A lot of traffic to fight through each level mainly due to the painfully slow exit process. Parking rates are very high as well. Do better.
The Galleria how aged well since I lived in LA. 4 stars due to odd sunday parking situation
Very rude cashiers at most of the shops.its like people are forcing them to work there. Movie theater staff was very snobby/rude.
Funny how people leave a review of a restaurant in here. The Galleria is an okay place with a few chain restaurants, fitness center, a theatre and just a handful of shops. Lots of empty locations and a well over priced nightmare of a parking structure.
Needed to charge my Tesla
It's very hard to get to the upper level and I had to pay 5 bucks to get out of the parking lot.
Leaving the parking is a nightmare after a movie. All exists are closed and only one functioning with one guy only. 11: 10pm and 45mn in the car… makes no sense
There's a few restaurants here (PF Chang's & Cheesecake Factory), DSW, and a movie theater. There's a dozen or so other spots too but these are the places I happened to remember. Really, nothing fancy or particularly special about this galleria.
Good spot to eat and watch a movie. Plenty of parking (w/ validation) and restaurant options like Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake Factory, Frida's, PF Changs, and more. The theater can be a bit of a walk from the main parking area, but the valet will get you closer.
It's.fine? Not a great place to casually browse, but if you're visiting one of the stores it's pleasant enough.
This is NOT the mall from any movie in the eighties. Despite being a staple of many childhoods that mall was torn down in the nineties because it was dead as a doornail.
This shopping center is conveniently located close to the 405, has ample parking, and the Cheesecake Factory is on site. A new Regal Cinemas is great.
