Sherman's Deli & Bakery reviews
12Great sandwiches and patio. Sandwiches are ridiculously big, so beware. I was there on a November evening. I imagine summer would be unbearable.
So very disappointing. $25 for a Keylime pie the only difference within a Marie Callender pie was gobs of whipping cream and sliced slices of lime. Way overrated, Wayover priced. Will not go back for this dessert!
Its a staple. A constant. A place you can go after a long night of drinking and eat a massive sandwich and some matzo ball soup. This place hasn't changed in forever, and I hope it never does.
Tip these workers well, they more than deserve it.
Sherman's is usually a favorite stop for us when we are in Palm Springs. Today the food was just meh and the service wasn't what it normally is.
Great spot. Very popular for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great cakes and bakery items as well. My wife and I found this place last night and got a corset cake to go. It was excelent. There other items also look delicious. My wife and I came here this morning for breakfast. The service is excelent. I had hotcakes, scrambled eggs and sausage. The hotcakes were very good, but not fabulous. The sausage is much beter than most. The scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked.
I had a wonderful breakfast there this morning. I had the lox and bagel plate with Cole slaw as my side of choice. They are one of few delis that do this well. My server Mitch was the best! He had a great sense of humor and really attentive. In the future, I will try to get seated in his section!
Sherman's is one of the best places to eat in Palm Springs. Always great food and a huge selection and do not pass up taking bakery treats home with you.
Huge sandwiches, damn good rye bread and melt in your mouth pastrami! It gets packed on weekends so be prepared to wait.
The absolute worst pastrami I have ever had. Bread and very fatty pastrami, that was it, nothing else on it. Couldn't even finish it.
Was good, very fine staff. The reason for the 4, the desert, especially the pistachio cake was very dry.
By far the best food that we had while in Palm Springs. We had a large group and they accommodated us with indoor seating. I complained about being cold and before we knew it, they turned on the heat. The food was fabulous and the service was top notch. I highly recommend anyone that visits Palm Springs to add this restaurant in your plans.
I read that their corned beef sandwich was really good. I can vouch that it is the real deal. It was fresh and moist. The rye bread was soft, the deli mustard had the right amount of spice, and the pickles had the right amount of crunch.
