I loved everything about this place. The chill vibe, the incredibly wonderful waitress Sandra, and the food was stellar! I dont know how I had never heard of this place before!
It's definitely my new favorite!

Drove from palm springs since that location was closed for repairs. The person at the counter said there was no need to buy a extra pickle as he would throw a few extra spears in the sandwich box for us. So naturally I tipped a few extra$ even on a to go order, only to find out not only were there no extra pickles but the one that comes with the sandwich was also missing the bread was also dry.

A true gem of the desert. Sherman's Deli is a Palm Springs staple. Great Jewish comfort deli food at its finest. The sweet and sour cabbage soup and sky-high deli sandwiches on fresh baked hoagie rolls are to die for. Never pass up a chance at their incredible pastries, cakes, and cookies. SHERMAN"S deli is a must-have if you are visiting Palm Springs!

Had the philly cheese steak with onions and mushrooms. And the dome cake. It was very good. The service was very good.

A classic deli vibe with impeccable sandwiches that are absolutely massive. This is a must-go if you are in Palm Springs.

Came here on my way back to AZ. I had discovered it while watching an episode of Triple-D. My lunch started with a small bowel of chicken soup with a Matzo ball. A small accompaniment of pickles and sauerkraut came to the table. Then my sandwich; the grilled Reuben with creamy coleslaw. Everything was delicious. Loved the soup; the pickles; the creamy coleslaw; and sandwich. Only recommendation I’d make is the dressing. It wasn’t the best 1,000 island dressing. It was used sparingly on the Reuben. I took leftovers to go as the portions are generous, and saved room for a little dessert of coconut cake. The restaurant was crowded as I had about a twenty minute wait. Plenty to check out in the sweets case of their bakery. Service was a bit tardy, and the restaurant is clean. I’m a big guy and sitting in the booth was tight. I never understood why the tables were designed to be stationary, and to overlap the seats. Be aware of that if you’re big like me. My experience was very enjoyable. The check after tax came to a total of $47.95. If passing by again I’ll certainly stop for breakfast or lunch.

I got the Reuben Stacker it was huge and delicious. I will definitely be back when I am in the area. It's pricey but, worth it

We always eat here on our way out of the desert.the portions are big and the dessert case! All made in house. I had the Reuben and my husband had breakfast. Their bagels are so fresh and their cream cheese is smooth and yummy. I've also had the lox and bagels and I get sliced tomatoes and purple onion.for dessert we had the lemon meringue tart.their meringue is like mine. Very creamy like marshmallow.

I went in on a weekday late in the afternoon for a to go order. It was not busy at all as there was no line and I did not have to take a number. I asked for a corned beef Ruben. The young man must have just tuned me out after that as I asked for potato salad as a side. I also asked if I could get horseradish sauce and he said he could do it on the side. This made sense as he would not know how much I would want to add to the sandwich. You may not know but a Ruben includes saurkraut, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. What I discovered when I got home was that the sandwich did not have thousand island dressing on the sandwich. There was thousand island dressing on the side and no horseradish sauce. The other thing was there was no potato salad but French Fries! I cannot fathom how potato salad comes close to sounding like French Fries. I believe for $23 for a sandwich and a side that you should at least receive what you ordered. I have eaten in the restaurant in the past and had 5 star service. I don't believe however one can rest on their laurels as every aspect of the restaurant needs to provide great service and food and why I ranked this visit a disappointing 2.

If you're in the area, stop by.
In the opinion of someone like me who doesn't like cakes, cakes deserve the experience! Better to go on an empty stomach.super large portion

Old school eat in deli with great matzo ball soup and hot pastrami sandwiches. Been a favorite place to eat with early bird dinner specials too! A great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner! While in Palm Desert this is definitely a place to enjoy a meal. Let’s not forget all their home baked goods! A great selection of Pastry, cakes, pies, rugalah, cookies, cream puffs, cheese cake and so much more for dining in or take out!

Both locations are fantastic. Service is crisp. Food just like a New York deli. Atmosphere is old school NYC. Never has a bad meal here or in Palm Springs. Giant portions and huge selection of cakes, pies and other desserts. Recommended for anyone into no-nonsense, high quality food and service.

I love the golf theme! Wow they give you free pickles and sauerkraut (if you want it). Our server Tay was so incredibly nice and wonderful to interact with; she even did this adorable hiding the cake slice we ordered before she delivered it to us…because it was HUGE! It was the San Jacinto cake, which totally rivals the size of the mountain. My gal got pastrami on Rye and she turned into a magician because it disappeared off her plate so fast. I had three cheese grilled sandwich and it was also delicious. Thanks Sherman’s.

This place is STUPID expensive.but the $20 pastrami sandwich was worth every penny! I love pastrami and this is the best I ever had, so tender.better than The Hat! We got it to go so I have no idea how the wait service is nor how any other dish tastes but everything looked delicious and the aroma wafting through the place was incredible!

I love this diner. Christina is the best server there she has always been polite and knowledgeable with her recommendations. I never have to wait for a refill or ask for any extras. This places serves the hot food at the right temperature.
