Shin-Sen-Gumi Hakata Ramen - Gardena, W Redondo Beach Blvd

It had been awhile since I last came here, so many great memories of this place pre/Covid-19, so now it’s quite and well the Hakata ramen is still the BEST for me! Service is still very friendly and food is delicious! My girls husband and I will be back again very soon I’m sure! We dined in and it felt safe and clean! Temperatures are checked and every table is immediately cleaned after each client! Thank you everyone for making this experience smooth and yummy!

Love this place, now eating outside is like being in Europe. Not that I've been there but I've seen it on t.v.

This place is BOMB! The service here is always 100% on point. The ramen is out of this world tasty and this is one of my favorite places to visit for a very filling lunch or dinner. The broth is very flavorful, the plating style is always excellent, and the noodles are always cooked exactly the way I like them. I've only been here a few times but I will be back many more times in the future. I'll make sure to bring friends!

I love their ramen soooo much! I also love all the customization you can do for your bowl. I highly recommend this place, and be ready to wait for a bit to get inside.

This site is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. Whenever I I need a decent meal, this place comes straight to my mind.outstanding and diverse food and a rich cuisine.professional staff members, and pleasant ambience. And very important, the bill is affordable. I recommend this restaurant with no doubt.

Great Hakata Soup. Never disappointed, the desert I had today was also great. The guys named Joshua was very helpful as well as the rest of the crew. I never rate anything but this was a must, because Joshua deserves a props for his honesty and hospitality.

I visited this restaurant with two self-professed ramen experts. They were extremely impressed with the quality of the ramen here. They said that it would get a solid 7 out of 10 in Japan which translates to a 9 in the states. Since they are both from Japan and take their ramen very seriously I will bow to them.

I thought that it was very tasty and just about everything there reminded me of small, casual ramen shops in Tokyo. I was very pleased with my visit.

Location - Pretty hood when you got a dance studio next door and a bunch of people getting loud outside while waiting to be seated.

Venue - Typical ramen decor and size of venue.

Prices - High cause after you make the ramen the way you want its costing you about $23 dollar's.

Taste - Good ramen with good broth and has authentic taste. Just not happy about having to buy everything extra to make it good.

Staff - Great staff and on point.

Wouldn't be back and will give other places a try.

The ramen was very flavourful, but the noodles had an odd aftertaste and the green onions were a bit too overwhelming for me. The wontons I had tasted kind of frozen. The staff was nice and they answered any questions we had, they also went by our table constantly to ask if we wanted any refills

Being able to customize your ramen noodle, oil, and broth is what makes this place stand out among most other ramen locations in the area. Highly recommend coming in for lunch, but be prepared to wait.

But they WILL NOT seat u unless your whole party is there. They'll take others who got there after you and do have their whole party and seat them.

My first Ramen experience and it was delicious! We went with family who had been here before and showed us how to order. Everything was so good. Be brave and try everything!

Dinner starts at 6pm weekdays, get there early and sign in to skip the line still worth a 30 min wait tho

If you're familiar with ramen but have never been to SSG, you're in for a treat. Unlike most places that have a few set preparations, SSG allows you to customize your bowl from the firmness of the noodles to the strength to the broth to all the fixings on top.

Amazing ramen spot! It was pretty busy, we went on a Wednesday night and had to wait about 10-15 to get in the door. Fried squid tentacles, soft and hard boiled eggs, and fried pork cutlet were all great. My wife and I got the Hakata and loved it.

There is always a bit of a wait here AND it is worth it everytime!

I love this place and visit twice a month on average. The broth is always spot on and the cooks are usually great at getting your bowl to your preferences. The add-ins and sides are wide-ranging and interesting. The staff are the nicest people in town snd I've come to know several by name.

I appreciate the basics. When I go to a ramen restaurant, I seek ramen (noodles) that are properly cooked and evenly formed. It must be cooked precisely to a point where it offers a springy resistance. A good tonkotsu (soup) must be rich, flavorful and thick. It should never taste watered down. This place performs supremely well in both ramen and tonkotsu.

Been meaning to try this place for awhile, it's always packed so we figured it must be good and it was. Generous portions, the broth was very tasty and reasonably priced. But basic veggies like bean sprouts, bamboo shoots and seaweed have to be added and then that reasonable price goes up. It's a small place so expect a wait. The staff are friendly and fast. We will be coming back.
