I was happy to dine at this place with my friends but wasn't expecting too much as the novelty of the area has long worn off but i can say confidently the quality and service of this place will never do the same. It was affordable as well, to the point that the employee servicing us even made our meals combos to lessen the price. I would absolutely come here again

It is a great Ramen place. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. There were 6 of us. Celebrating my son's birthday. We only waited 5 minutes for a table. We will definitely be going back there.

I had never eaten at a ramen restaurant before. So the whole experience was new for me. The atmosphere was great. Our servers were very helpful and kept us up to date on the arrival of our food. It was so delicious.

Came here for the first time and it was a blessing. We grabbed tonkatsu ramens and takoyaki. At first I didn't understand how to order but the employees are very nice to teach us how to order. The desserts are to DIE FOR! Matcha ice cream tastes like actual matcha without the overpowering sweetness. The creme brulee was really good as well! The caramelized sugar on top was very, very crunchy, just how I like it. Overall worth coming here to take a bite!

The food was great. The Spicy Da Dan Ramen was really good and since I got a combo it chose the Curry Rice. That Curry Rice was really good. My kids had the kids plate which came with a variety of awesome and tasty options for the kids.

“Hakata ramen” had absolutely ZERO flavor, rice tastes like it came from a cheap box at 7/11, the service is horrible and our friend got soup spilled all over her dress in a VERY avoidable clean up accident (waiter stacked 3 soup filled bowls on top of each other) and didn’t even apologize. Would give ZERO STARS if possible.

When you have it be delivered to you, it's such a HORRIBLE PLACE/SERVICE/QUALITY. I recommend you DO NOT ORDER for it to be delivered. They DO NOT read the instructions on the order (EVER, Ive ordered for delivery about 5 times and they ALWAYS FAIL to look into the order details). They also SERVE YOU WAY LESS WHEN IT IS DELIVERY. When you call to speak to someone, THEY NEVER ANSWER (its an automated machine with no option for customer service).
When you go in person, it's OKAY. I recommend you go to the Gardena site, its better service and quality of food.

A very nice place to eat and, above all, very tasty. A very varied menu with a lot of flavor.

We checked out this spot while on vacation. Food was good, but the ordering process was a bit confusing (maybe just us?). They forgot to bring me my overload items (pork belly, katsu, etc.). We still wanted to try it so we ate them with my final bites of my spicy ramen.

Favorite place to get Ramen at. I took my cousin, when he came in town from Arizona for a visit. He's last words were "dang when I get home I'm going to have a craving for Ramen, you know we don't have food like that out there. "

The food was a different to what I’m used to for Raman bar as I am from Houston but the place was nice. It was clean and the food was OK.

Had the spicy dandan men and spicy chasu musubi. Great service and a lot of customization options for the ramen. Recommend reserving a table during busy hours

Very kind wait staff, but I think the ramen quality was off when I visited. The broth wasn’t flavorful and the noodles were just okay (the standard Hakata ramen). Beef bowl was fine and the clam chowder croquette were fine. The price is probably the best in LA, but there’s tastier ramen elsewhere.

Great place, friendly staff is attentive without being pushy. Food is fantastic, I really like the combo of the QR code menu on the phone with filling out a paper form making ordering a breeze. 10/10 for me and my group.

This is my favorite ramen restaurant. The food is impeccably delicious. The moment you walk in they give you an experience! Their Tonkatsu ramen is made in the same process as its made in a regional area in Japan for centuries.

This place was pretty good! The service was fast and friendly and the food was pretty good. The only downside was that fact that extra toppings were 2.50? Or even asking for sauce was extra. A bit of a side eye in my opinion but overall good experience.

At Shinsengumi, they serve Hakata style ramen with options for noodle firmness, soup oil level, and broth strength. I ordered their standard bowl of ramen and it came with two slices of cha siu, a bit of pickled ginger, and a handful of green onions. You can pay more for many different toppings but they’re a bit expensive. Shinsengumi ramen always serves good quality ramen. It always tastes the same, maybe a 7 or 8/10 but anything more would have to be to die for.

The hakata ramen was decent and flavorful. The gyoza that came with the combo were so small it looked like it was part of a kid's meal and not your typical size gyoza compared to other Shin-sen locations. The ramen egg that came with our ramen was a hardboiled egg and not the traditional soft boiled ramen egg. We had to pay $10 to park in the parking lot, which is ridiculous. We sat in the outdoor patio area since we had a stroller, and the interior seating was mainly taken. The service was great, though, but I will definitely stick to other Shin Sen locations.
