I work at a transitional shelter for unhoused folks and I can't say enough good things about Ira and Shoes for the Homeless. Their generous donations of 200 pairs of shoes and socks were sorely needed here at our facility, and both staff and clients greatly appreciate Ira's support in helping us meet this basic need. Our clients here extend their gratitude to Ira and his non-profit, and my coworkers and I appreciate their giving spirit and willingness to collaborate. Again, thank you for all that you do, Ira! Your efforts and kindness make a huge difference for so many folks and we are fortunate to have people like you in this line of work.

I love Shoes for the Homeless! They are such a great and generous organization that assisted our non-profit organization Illumination Foundation. They helped us procure over 200 pairs of shoes for the homeless population that we serve. They put a smile on our clients faces and they were genuinely happy. We need more organizations like this and Ira is amazing! We definitely appreciate the service not only provided to us but to everyone across the nation! Shoes for the Homeless has changed the lives of the people we served in the matter of a few days. We are forever grateful for them.

Thank you so much for the donation of shoes for our patients. They are of great value as our patients need sturdy shoes, especially during the rainy season. Without shoes, patients are not able to be discharged from the hospital.

I work for The People Concern and Ira has donated shoes to us before. These shoes are life-changing for our clients. As an outreach worker it is always a gift to find an organization fueled by the depth of understanding and kindness exhibited by Shoes for the Homeless.
Those in need have a great and good friend in Ira Diamond. I feel privileged to be able to give out the multitude of shoes and socks contributed to us. I see first hand how very important it is to have decent footware for health, dignity and survival.

Simply put, no one can stand upright without a decent pair of shoes.

This is an extremely worthwhile cause, and it's easy to donate not only slightly worn shoes that we don't have use for anymore but others might but also our time in helping to process and sort the shoes collected.

Such a blessing getting shoes from Dr. Diamond and his team. I work for PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) and it is difficult to get shoes for all the men and women. With Shoes for the Homeless, our participants can finally have nice shoes for the holidays.

I volunteer at the Uptown Community Service Center in San Diego where services are provided for homeless and lower income people. We always have a need for shoes.
My wife came across "Shoes for the Homeless" and contacted their founder Ira Diamond who was more than happy to hear what we do and help us out.
When we met him in LA he quietly indicated we could have more
shoes than our original request. All in all, it was a pleasure working with this organization and hopefully we can work with them in the future. The work they do and essential goal they have is certainly worth any contribution that you could make.

Here at Upward Bund House, we had the amazing opportunity to work with Shoes for the Homeless, Inc. We received nothing less than a great service! Founder, Ira Diamond made the collaboration very easy, and was willing to accommodate all of our families needs. It was wonderful to work with someone mirroring our efforts to assist homeless families in any way possible. UBH will continue to work with this organization in the future.

What a wonderful experience I had working with Ira from Shoes For The Homeless. I emailed with an initial enquiry asking about their program and he responded immediately and to all the follow up emails. Their website is easy to navigate and provides lots of important information on their mission and how you can get involved. We drove to LA to pick up the very generous donation of both men's and women's shoes and socks that we will be given to Uptown Community Service Center in San Diego for their unsheltered clients. We are so very grateful and can't thank Ira enough.

I work for a non profit called The People Concern and my specific location works directly with the community on Skid Row. The donations we have received from Shoes for the Homeless has been nothing short of a blessing. I am the Director of Volunteer Services at LAC+USC Medical Center.the largest safety net hospital in Southern California, that provides services for patients/community members in need of medical services and are experiencing homelessness. Shoes were a resource constantly in need and not always available due to severe shortage in supply chain. It was through the work of Shoes for the Homeless that we are now able to have a large and steady donation of shoes for our patient experiencing homelessness. This not only helps our community members experiencing homelessness, but it is also helpful to the environment when we are able to reuse gently worn shoes and provide to people in need. Dr. Diamond, was very accessible and the pick up location was at a central area in Los Angeles. Overall, this was an amazing connection with a very organized and professional community service group. Really wonderful organization. You can see they have a huge sense of community and community support. Families and people of all ages come together to process shoes and get them ready for distributing to people who are unhoused. A fun way to get involved if you are looking to do so!

Dr. Ira Diamond is a delight to talk with. He was personally involved in all our requests and made sure our organization got exactly what we needed. He goes above and beyond to help.

I am soo grateful to have found this program! I received shoes for myself and my two young adult children. I could not believe they had a size 16 for my son who was in desperate need of shoes.
