Shogun Restaurant, Rancho Cucamonga CA

Not a good experience. I was hoping that it would be better than Wabi Sabi, but it did not deliver. The experience was rather boring and they didn't entertain as much or interact with customers.

They use to have much better show, now they just go through few motions and cook with exuberant amount of butter. Sushi was not the best. However the waitress are very nice and attentive.

Had the Edamame and it was good. Had the muscles, but aint gonna lie, they should've been hotter, temp was a lil cool. Shared the Shogun Special and chose the rib eye to go with the lobster and scallops. All really good.

Nice atmosphere, good food, and drink.

The food is great, probably one of the better hibachi experiences in the area. Weekends are packed.the usual wait time is around 30-45. Alcoholic drinks are tasty but at times can be really strong. Overall, if you want the hibachi experience, this is a great option! Also, the tables are larger for more room, which most can appreciate at these establishments.

Good teppan grill. My new go-to spot for teppan. Decor little run down and old. But there for the food. Recommended.

Had a 2: 30 reservation, didn't get seated til close to 3: 10. That's why 3 star rating on service. Foods always delicious.

This was most delightful experience ever! My Sushi was made with perfection by Kris and then Cory topped it off by the best Lemon Drop Martini ever. My overall experience as a first time customer was over the top with the best customer service & hospitality ever!

Just had the worst service here tonight. I told them I was allergic to mushrooms and they bring me my soup with mushrooms. The cook was very sloppy, I got fried rice in my soup and my beverage. After making the fried rice he didn't scrape all the remaining egg that was cooked on, so everything else he cooked on it like my Filot Mignon tasted like burnt egg. My Filot Mignon ended up being undercooked, ordered it medium rare and it came out raw. The worst part was paying nearly 100$ for this horrible service.

Great place family friendly. Food was delicious. Great show by the chefs. Good amount of food. Spicy chicken, teriyaki chicken, and the steak is a must try.

The chef was very entertaining and made sure we ate good and the kids enjoyed the cooking show

Great food. Just a little disappointed that our chef wasn't as entertaining or engaging as usual. At least we got the onion volcano.

I traveled for work and stopped by here for a quick bite. I ordered a half & half order of sushi consisting of a BBQ roll and the Mexican Roll! The BBQ roll with Shrimp tempura was really good!

Food was delicious! I had the filet mignon with sesame chicken. Wife enjoyed a tempura roll. Ambience is great. Our chef didn’t catch anyone’s eye brows on fire so that’s good. Plenty of food, we all took to go boxes.

Fun place with excellent food and usually good service. The only time service is slow is when the chefs get backed up. There are a limited amount of chefs for the number of tables, but they are usually very good at keeping up. Atmosphere is loud, but my wife and I love to talk to all the new people we meet sitting at our table. (We are only 2 at a table that sits 8). I highly recommend. It is a little pricey, but we'll worth it! Management is awesome as the restaurant is very well run!

Everything that the chef cooked in front of us was fresh. Service is another good reason to go. Great ambience and good food.

Chef was amazing as always. Waiters.no good! We felt as if we were being preyed upon. The second food was coming to a close waiter and manager were taking our food. I asked for another beer my waiter told me ya for sure came back with my check and forgot about my beer. If it was busy I'd understand but it was dead. Great food just an off night

I go here all the time but this last time was really bad I was there on a Monday I asked for no salt on my food and the cook would not listen to me at all and just poured soy sauce all over my meats gross he also keep trash talking about the restaurant and how poor the food was like ummm thanks I asked over and over for no salt by the end we didn't eat we took it to go bc I know if I eat that I will be sick 140 $$$ down the drain when we got home we noticed the chicken was raw and the shipm bc he was so busy talking about how bad this place was and the owner I was very sad and now scared to go back bc of one cook
