Shoreline Lake American Bistro reviews
14A beautiful place to have breakfast in the morning the food is reasonable it's fresh and it's good. Kayaking and paddle boats are available to rent along with bicycles.
Great place for a lunch in a sunny day. Food is good, but simple. There are plenty of umbrellas, as well as birds trying to grab the food from your plate - maybe something could be done to prevent it, this the ratinf
Shoreline is a wonderful Park with amenities like boat, bike rentals and a restaurant. The best part is that it's next to the Bay trails.
Very pleasant environment with dining tables outdoor overlooking the lake where people having fun with various water sports.
Wow, the food here is good! The view of the lake when eating makes it even better! You can see SUP boarders, sailboats, and many Canadian geese. Food is a tiny bit pricy, but delicious.
I used to love this place before the pandemic. Since then the menu has changed (fewer choices, it seems) and all the cups, crockery, flatware etc.have been swapped out for disposable alternatives which is disappointing. The bottleneck at the ordering counter hasn't been fixed and meals now need to be collected from a counter instead of being delivered to customers at their tables. There are no discounted coffee refills any more either, so I'm not seeing any positives to the changes yet. My avocado toast was generously sized and fresh with tasty multi-seed bread, but the toast was cold. The location is of course still fantastic and the prices are very fair, so it's still a very decent choice for a relaxed breakfast with a view.
Delicious food, always fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff is friendly, place is clean and the view is spectacular.
Burger/sandwich/pub food place where u can watch folks playing on the water out of the wind. They also have coffee or beer/wine options so u can chill while hanging out.
It's such a nice setting. The pear and gorgonzola salad is fantastic, and the beet salad is also scrumptious. Despite a lot of patrons, the food came up quickly. Waiting in line to order can be a little tedious however.
The cafe is cozy, it has a very nice location: the beautiful lake view right in front of your eyes. One can sit inside as well as outside.
We ordered two teas and a slice of cake, we paid around 12 usd. However, they forgot our order, which was not obvious to us, so we had to wait forever.it was a bit disappointing, but in the end we solved it.
Besides, I have one more negative remark: the food and beverages are served in plastic/paper containers, which leads to a lot of waste, check one of the attached photos: (
Otherwise, it was overall a nice experience.
Amazing place to enjoy your lunch/ brunch! The place is bit pricy but it’s worth the view if the weather is good. As we are vegetarian- only black bean burger with salad matches with our diet but it’s pretty good and always hits the spot. Definitely work the place and taste. Their desserts are so so intimidating but pricy as well.
Black bean burger with both side salads: 15$
Zero Covid responsible (and unfriendly). If you take covid seriously and want to take care of yourself don't visit them. Everybody has to go insides to pay (no matter if credit card or cash). Zero flexibility, no curbside/outsides pickup. Tables are soo close! Not possible to keep any distance to other guests!
One of the best places on planet earth. Almost 70 degrees for 10 months of the year, lake view, water sports, watch a daily mesmerizing daily sunset/sunrise. Caveat that with increasing views this place will probably get a little more crowded. Cafe food is a bit pricey.
Overpriced food that doesn't taste that good, screaming children, and someone literally changing their toddlers diaper right in front of the restaurant. I ordered fish and chips and got three pieces of fish on a bed of fries, all of which was cold. One of the pieces of fish (im being generous by calling it that) was literally only the beer batter that had been fried. Overall, food, customer service, and vibes were all off. The only saving grace is the view which, quite frankly, doesn't make up for everything else that is wrong with this resturant.
