Remodeled rooms were cozy and CLEAN. Fancy toiletries.
Great continental breakfast waiting in lobby. Hot coffee, fresh Bagels & yogurt. Best natural springs pool in Shoshone

We stayed one night after visiting Death Valley National Park. We stayed here years ago and they have renovated the place and the rooms. It is the closest place outside the park and more affordable than the lodging inside the NP. This hotel and the quaint town are hidden gems. The room was nicely decorated with a microwave and mini-refrigerator. These amenities were helpful since we were able to heat our prepared food and not have to go out after a full day of activities in Death Valle NP. There toiletries were very nice. The continental breakfast and coffee were good. The staff were friendly.

Wonderfully updated and clean gem. Jennifer and Pam were wonderful. I will defer stay here again when we visit the area.

Only negative about the place was maid stood outside laundry room smoking, which was right next to our room and we were packing up to leave so we had to walk back and forth through cigarette smoke and then the room smelled like cigarettes.
The deluxe rooms have two double beds and the area is pretty tonight but the room was recently renovated and was beautiful and clean. The mini kitchen has dishes, coffee maker and two chairs.
There is no phone service in the area so the wifi and satellite TV are spotty.
They actually serve a light breakfast of bagels, oranges, apples and coffee.
The pool is about a quarter of a mile down a dirt road, it is a hot spring. Only slightly smelled of sulfur. It's a little run down but fun experience.
maps told us to go out of Death Valley to the north then through Pahrump. But it was definitely faster going south out of the park, especially if you see Badwater Basin last.

Comfy bed. Very accommodating staff. Spring fed swimming pool was amazing. Wonderfully clean room. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Very pleased with our stay and will be back! Diner across the road was excellent too.

What a wonder experience. The lady that worked at the desk (I forgot her name) was incredibly kind and informative. She knew a ton about the town and the unique history. The rooms look "rustic" on the outside but are all remodeled and new inside. Overall it was a wonderful experience and highly recommended. All the cool things are within walking distance of the hotel too.

The Shoshone Inn is the place to stay while driving through the Death Valley. There are not much alternatives - true - but this hotel provides rooms in good quality with Wifi, a large bathroom and a mini fridge. Having a drink to the patio with this amazing view on the stars is great! 4,5 stars!

I went to pick up lottery tickets Shoshone. It was a long line. But it was absolutely no big deal! Everyone conversed with one another like we'd known each other for years! But once inside the store. The employees were very polite and with all the others behind me, THERE WAS NO RUSH! They treated me as if I were the only one in the store. You can't buy that now days!

Clean and nice rooms with modern amentities. There are two buildings: one from the 20s and the second from the 50s. We stayed at the older one and it was great although the wooden floors had been crooked a bit over the years, but it only gave it more character. Nice small breakfast and friendly staff too. There's also a pool in fair condition near the motel.

I hope this hidden gem stays EXACTLY as it is! Small and older but totally renovated up to a standard higher than the resort we stayed at in Vegas, quiet, friendly, comfortable, clean, with every amenity you can think of. This time it was a convenient stopping place on the road to elsewhere, but next time we will go out of our way to stay there.

Highly recommend this hole in the wall! The lady that welcomed us was friendly and willing to do whatever we needed. She even gave us the local history of the town and was willingly going to come make up the pull out sofa that I needed to use. Clean room, super quiet. Only 17 residents in the town
