Delicious indian food and chaat can be found only at this place in Bay Area. The people running this restaurant are awesome and they treat their customers well. You can get taste of healthy home made food here as well.

The people (uncle and aunty) who run the corner are the ones who are the USPs of this place in addition to the super amazing food offered. The price is very reasonable and they believe in using organic ingredients in every preparation. We love to start our weekend mornings with their chai. The chaats are authentic and undeniably the best I have had in the bay area in 8 years! This place is a must visit for anyone wanting to experience the hospitality of India

Amazing food. We tried Vegan Kofta Curry, Pani Puri, Dahi Puri. Being a foodie I can tell without a doubt that it’s the best food we had in Bay Area. Uncle and Auntie (owners) both are very kind and make food according to your needs and make fresh.

Visited the restaurant today morning for brunch for the first time. We were the only ones at the place as it's a relatively new place. The ambience is like an old school cafe - neat, inviting and basic - just what we needed for a relaxing brunch. Tried and Loved the fresh homely style breakfast combo - vegetable omelette and paratha made of multi grain wheat, it was so refreshing and tasty! I have never had an omelette with cauliflower, onions, chili.the portion size was more than filling and it tasted really yummy. We also ordered couple of parathas for our kids - they loved it. The amazing thing is we have never seen jaggery paratha before except back home in India and my kids loved it! We had a nice chat with the owners - a lovely and welcoming couple Uncle and Aunty! It felt like we were sitting amongst people known to us for years. Then had one of the best tea freshly prepared to wrap up my brunch. The great part is both of them know what's healthy food - we spoke about the oil, the need for fresh veggies etc. I have a feeling this is soon going to be one of my favorite restaurants for frequent eating. They have so many options to order from. Menu prices aren't crazy like most other places now. I'm so glad they decided to open this close to our place. I'm going to recommend everyone to definitely make a visit once and decide. If you can, best not to order for delivery - nothing beats the taste of fresh and hot served food.:)

Great people running the restaurant but more importantly the food is amazing and has an authentic taste. Ask for their dahi puri chat special, it’s fantastic!

We've ordered from this place on two occasions, and the taste has been consistently delightful.

Samosa: It boasts a fantastic flavor, genuinely challenging to find in the Bay Area.

Lotus root vegetable: This vegetable is quite unique and offers a delicious taste. It was a hit at our party.

Chola: We opted for Lahori Chhola. While our guests enjoyed it, I personally am not a big fan of Lahori Chhola.

Chat: Their Paani Pori is exceptional and a must-try. If you're a fan of chaat, you'll discover that the true taste of khatta paani is hard to come by in the Bay Area. This item is a must-try.

The owners also included a personal touch by providing a warmer with the catering, which made a significant difference. Overall, the food is excellent, and the owners are very friendly and approachable.

Delicious and homely Indian food and chaat!
Dahi puri was really tasty. Aalu tikki chaat was good too. The tikki had nice spicy stuffing in the middle. Samosa chaat was just fine. All the chutneys were delicious. Portions were great for the money.
The set up and decoration is very basic but the food tops it. Service was warm and quick.

I was very excited to find an Indian Restaurant popup at a location in Newark that I used to drive by almost everyday. It's in a quiet complex off of Central, just as you take the overpass above 880. Having spotted an Indian restaurant so close to home, I had to call and find out more. The place is run by a lovely couple who make you feel very welcome and want you to have a homely experience. The fact that they are open for Breakfast as well, sets them apart. Tons of vegetarian options and some curries on the list are like a home cooked food menu and not just your usual creamy rich gravies.

I recently had their Poha, Methi Thalipeeth (it's a type of paratha but not layered), Methi Paratha (the layered one). These were very very tasty. Previously I tried their Dal Makhani and Aloo paratha. Again, both very good. Their parathas are big and buttery! The owners are getting settled as they moved recently from Mount Shasta. You will find a 'pahadi' hospitality in their nature. Looking forward to try more dishes on the menu. If you are looking for chaat (which I sampled a little) and curries and Indian breakfast items and parathas, do give them a try.

Also, note, they make everything fresh and use organic produce.

It's a small, old school diner with a lot of different choices for breakfast and lunch. The service is phenomenal. She was kind and friendly. Food was served quick and hot, very delicious.
