A friend of mine recommended this place to me and we enjoyed our visit! Too bad I was busy with kids and didn’t take photos of our dishes:
- Impressive (Sichuan) Sausage was authentic. The added peanuts on the side was so-so.
- Steamed Pork with Rice Flour was just right. My picky 7-year-old son only ate this dish with white rice!
- Impressive cold noodle felt authentic but the noodle was a tad dry for me.
- Boiled Fish with Rattan Pepper. Nicely done! Not everyone can handle rattan pepper but we love it!
- Mao Cai. Quite a combo of a wide variety of ingredients. I personally loved the luncheon meat and sliced beef the most. The cucumber was also good—crunchy and tasty!
- Wonton in Chicken Broth. I didn’t try so no comment. (My family didn’t say anything negative.)

I used the word “authentic” a couple times because I grew up in Sichuan. Overall it was a great first visit for us, and I’d recommend this restaurant to others.

Meanwhile, I did feel it was pricier than I anticipated, but we had quite some leftover to box and take home. That means the portion was right.

In case this matters: my son loved the Dyson hand drier in the bathroom.

This place is delicious if you love 辣 or 麻,it's a temple to all things on Sichuan cuisine. Must visit place if you have a craving for authentic Chinese food. Carry out only due to Covid.

The people dining in was very much Chinese and the conversation sounded pretty happy and content. I have eaten 'chinese' in India, Europe, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. But the dishes I got were pretty different and tasty. Loved the crab, lamb, fried rice and bamboo shoots preparations. The evening was great.

Very greasy (please ask for less oil if they have one) but Loved their fish bowl in chilli sauce.it's right on point

Very fast at their service, and total value for the price you pay.
Most of their dishes suffice 2people so don't worry about the price.

We arrived about 8: 15pm, there was still a long line and waitlist. Put ourselves on the list but for some reason didn't receive the text message. Went to check close to 8: 50, which is pretty much closing time. Still accommodated our dine-in. Friendly and fast service. Delicious dishes and spiciness level is on point. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, great service. Long lines but worth wait. The lamb skewers were spiced just right. Savory dishes. This is not bland Chinese food. One of the better spots for flavor in SoCal wrt authentic Chinese food. Way to go Impression!

The store looks not eye-catching in a big plaza, but the food there is Great! Authentic Sichuan style, spicy and tongue-numbling. We ordered Tea smoked pork rib, spicy fried squid dry pot, couple's sliced beef in chili sauce, and wonton in chicken broth. For 2 adults and one kid, this is way more than enough. We all enjoyed the food a lot. Here are some down sides of this place. First, It's always too busy. If you plan to go there, make a reservation ahead of time or prepare to wait. Don't be surprised how crazy the line is. Secondly service could be improved. For example, the menu from their website is outdated. Price has been increased and also items they are not offering are still listed there. Anyway, we love the food which the most important thing. I wish they could open a new store in SF. I will definitely check it out again.

Regardless of the food quality and the service,

If you want to be:

1. Forced to pay tips on the tax (tips should always be calculated before tax. There is no tip on tax)

2. Forced to pay 20% tips on a group (most of restaurants charge 18% on group).

Then this is a place to be.

Great authentic Taiwanese cuisine experience!

I love the chili-based sauce that give you the tingly, spicy sensation around the tongue. Spicy without being hot - really liked all of their authentic Taiwanese food. Table was a bit on the small side because 4 of us ordered a whole bunch.

I would highly recommend this down to earth, home cooked feel restaurant!

Horrible service! The waiter was very rude and wouldn’t give us a seat until everyone was here. They made us stand next to the door even though it was a tight space! Don’t recommend!

Don’t go to this one! The food is served 2 minutes after ordering, either it is precooked or some reheat of cooking packages, but def not fresh. And you will notice the crazy amount of MSG in the first taste. The food portion is also hilarious. You only got less than ten piece of meat in a $30 dish? The service is clearly a joke. Never saw another restaurant that seriously eyed at you to give tips. And it charges tips based on post-tax amount and don’t give you any option below 18%. This is a scam rather than a restaurant

Food was decent, but it wasn't very spicy. Portion size very pretty small. I had better Sichuan food in the past so I was expecting this to be a bit better.

Very spicy, just average taste, somewhat expensive and not a great place to eat in general.

We ordered quite a few dishes, didn't end up finishing them because they weren't really our thing. I don't think that there was a standout for me.

This is one of those places where spicy is just for spicy and overwhelms a lot of other tastes, which tends to be a poor experience for those who value other flavors. On the other hand, nothing was outright bad tasting or disgusting.

Atmosphere and seating are a bit of a letdown too, even for a Chinese restaurant. Our entire table was sticky and the whole place was very loud.

Come here if you like spicy and don't care much about anything else.
