Sichuan Tasty Restaurant 川味道 reviews
12The food here is great and the area is also beautiful. Parking is tough as expected. Definitely recommend. I got the black pepper chicken.
Got take out and ordered online to pick up for the first time today. I thought the food was pretty good BUT I asked for no MSG on all my food. I got a horrible MSG headache about 15 minutes after I finished. The rest of the day is ruined, I have to go to bed and I feel really awful. NOT OK! Beware of this restaurant if you’re sensitive to MSG.
Holy cow. This was delicious! Been there twice, can't wait to go back. Super authentic. If you like mala, this is the place for you.
Great food! Great service! Very reasonable. I highly recommend this little gem. Can't wait to go back.
I’ve had almost every dish here, honestly best Chinese restaurant in the city because of the consistent quality of every dish. I love Sichuan food. Here are my favorite dishes: Sichuan style green bean jelly, crispy spicy tofu, pork fried rice (amazing. Dont overlook), cucumber and dry bean curd, tan tan noodles, shredded potatoes.
The food is better leftover even! The flavor just gets better. Love this place. Also the owner is a amazing and the best service. If you have any dietary restrictions she can accommodate. Also you can get SO MUCH FOOD for cheap but it’s not bad quality.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in San Francisco. I've eaten here many many times! It is a hidden gem in the Richmond District
Happily surprised by the quality of the fish fillet and pickled pork-based soup. Here’s what’s left. Can’t wait to eat it again tomorrow!
This food has quickly become my favorite Chinese food in the city! The Chong Qing Style Chicken, cumin lamb, cucumbers and dry bean curd, and the cold noodles are a must.
Great food and wonderful staff. I’ve eaten here literally dozens of times!
I would recommend the House Special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. It comes with plenty of pleasantly mouth-numbing Sichuan peppercorns. The cartilage-heavy beef might be a bit strange for plain Jane western pallets, but it adds to the gelatinous deliciousness of the broth.
If you like that flavor but don’t want beef, try the spicy boiled fish fillet. ~$20 but it’s quite a large portion.
Worth a try—you might come back as often as I! ;)
Amazing food and very authentic! Be careful because it is quite spicy, but very "tasty"
This place has a huge menu so if you have a Chinese dish you love, chances are they offer it here. The value for the price is amazing (the dan dan noodles come in a huge serving size!) and they don’t hold back at all on flavor or good quality ingredients.
