Cafe Sideboard Danville reviews
27Great food. The service was excellent and the guidelines for Covid19 were follow effectively. Will comeback. Thanks.
Came here as it's a bit out of the way of the major metropolitan areas to meet up with a friend and was surprised by some extremely delicious food. Surprisingly complex and rich flavors. Started off with a cinnamon roll and secretly, it's my absolute favorite guilty treat and this doesn't disappoint with a massive size and perfectly creamy, fluffy, and not overly sweet. Then had a salad with a mushroom quiche which is a bit out of my normal palette choices but this was surprisingly delicious given it's all vegetarian nature. The crisp greens with a powerful vinaigrette and a complex mushroom and egg flavor that rivaled meat. Overall extremely delicious and with fast counter order service. The one downside is the lack of indoor/outdoor tables even with the large space inside resulting in waits.
Food still great even via curbside/takeout! Out of the many restaurants we’ve had curbside at during quarantine, we keep coming back to sideboard.
They know how to keep food tasty even after the 15 minute drive home. The fries are open in their container so as not to become soggy. The sandwiches aren’t overly sauces so the bottom bun isn’t a mess when you get home. Just good, quality food.
Can’t wait for them to be back open and we can hang in their patio again, but until then, very happy we can get the same great food to go.
Very friendly service. The food was good. Had great favor. Their homemade sauces are all tasty and make every meal that much better. The only downside is that they are expensive. Approximately $18 for a salad. No protein was added and no drink. Just the salad. If you are watching your budget reconsider, however if money is no issue and you are in the neighborhood give it a try.
Good food and coffee.help yourself with plates utensils infused water. Great brussel sprouts, fries, salads, many sandwiches. Good veggie choices.
Great place for a lunch on a nice day. Good variety, everything we had was delicious! Will be back again to try more
Very casual and welcoming place with three seating areas, patio with running water, wide range of warm coffee drinks and bottled soda, promoting local artisans, with a vintage treasure finds for sale and above all, very friendly and helpful staff and home-baked deserts and pastries. The cappuccino and lattes come decorated. All coffee and dessert are served in vintage china, with vintage utensils. Tried the rustic bread pudding and coffee cake and the finely decorated pomegranate butter cake - each was delicious, fresh and delightful. The only small eyesore is that the patrons leave their used cups and plates on the table. It takes a minute for the staff to clean it, but why not provide a place for the guests to get engaged.
Food's good, there's is a lady that wears a pink Jacket and she's kind rude, I did not appreciate her attitude
This spot is worth a visit. They serve large portions for reasonable rates. Constantly well kept and with fantastic vibes. Highly recommended.
Sideboard is a really great place. My wife and I went after a long hiatus and there were so many appetizing options to choose from. Will definitely need to make another visit very soon.
Liked their cheese burger and their salad were fresh. Staffs were nice and the service was excellent. Good coffee too. I would surely visit again.
Food n coffee was great as was the atmosphere. We were visiting from Australia and rated this our best foodie experience of the trip.
Great veggie burger and pumpkin muffin today. Always love the ambience of this place and the disco sound track today was awesome!
Great atmosphere, great vibes, huge portions for food. Had the tostada with Chicken. Food was decent but not quite wow-worthy. The halloween decorations and general interior was very cool though. Loved the chili-infused honey they had in the condiment tray.
Food is good but service and signage is simply awful. Long wait in line to order (25 minutes) and even longer to get food. Also extremely noisy so not a good place for conversations
Delicious eggs. Lovely latte art. A great pastry variety in an eclectic and fun setting. A great place to meet friends for breakfast, brunch and coffeetalk
My fave lunch spot in Danville. I work in town and often come here during longer breaks for a peaceful lunch. I love that you order at the front then nobody bugs you for the remainder of your stay. I like to bring a good book and settle in with a yummy meal and their fabulous iced tea.
Fantastic breakfast spot! Cool seating, welcome feeling, all the staff is very pleasant, food tastes AMAZING.
A hidden little gem of a place. Came for coffee and breakfast, went back for softshell crab sammies. There were bangin' 10/10 's
