Sideboard Lafayette

Sideboard is one of our favorite brunch spots! You place your order up front and then find a seat. More casual than a typical restaurant.
The avocado toast and English muffins are our favorites! My kids and I eat there at least once a week (sometimes more!). One of the employees, Ford, is a favorite of ours to see there. He is always upbeat and friendly to me and my kids. Great service, environment, & food. What more could you ask for?

Not much of a fan. I wanted to be and hoped to be, as I had heard a lot of good things about it, but its waaay out of my budget and price range, for the amount of food given.

Its too bad, too, cause I found its atmosphere to be cute and quaint, a bit on the funky side, even though it has a beachy openness side to it.

It is nice that the restaurant provides quarters to their customers to help with the metered parking that envelopes the area, but for me, on my tight budget, its just doesn't help enough. Just too expensive.

I told my friends about this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is fantastic and the team is generous and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we pass a splendid evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Great setting, and love grabbing food to take out to the lawn across the parking lot. Food is good, staff is friendly, and great location.

I miss going to Sideboard Lafayette. Their food is simply delicious and great job to the staff who provide quality service to their customers. The place has a nice ambiance too.

Fantastic baked goods and fried chicken.however, nooooot many gluten free or vegan options.and, they don't allow substitutions.

Only came here for breakfast so far. Beignets were outstanding! French Toast is Texas thick - suggestion - make a Maple Whiskey Syrup. 4.5 out of 5

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME
I ordered a shrimp mango salad and we liked the banana pudding so much we ordered another one. My husband really liked the salad he ate as well. We're definitely returning on a regular basis
Edit: we liked it so much we went back for breakfast the next morning. Poached eggs (simple but yummy), the plant based tostada (amazing), cinnamon roll, brownie, freshly squeezed orange juice - all delicious. New favorite cafe-style restaurant

Solid option with a dog friendly patio. Good coffee, tasty pastries and an all-around decent menu make this a regular neighborhood spot.

Amazing open feeling, great food, friendly and professional staff, I'll be back for sure! Also, love hpw they are "green" concious!

I really like this place, I only had coffee and warn banana nut bread, but it's so cute I would definitely go back again. I just love the atmosphere of feeling like you're in your own kitchen.it made me feel warm and nostalgic:)

Gosh I love this place. Let's see: individually hand dripped coffee, made one cup at a time. The fluffiest English muffins made on site.rivaling "Oprah's favorite" muffins from Napa. Their Mac n cheese.mmmm.
The outside porch is so nice to sit at, or perhaps you prefer to take a picnic on the lawn.
Doggies are welcome and there are doggie treats and bowls for water.

The staff are always friendly, the food is always excellent, and I love the water dispensers and mismatched cutlery.

This is a great food and drink place, but service can get slow at busy times. My steak sandwich was slow to appear and lukewarm, but very tasty nonetheless. The espresso is superb and the desserts are tremendous. Lunch time is prime time. Nice outdoor seating. Servers very friendly and apologized for slow service. Recommended if you aren't in a rush.

Very friendly with California flare. Food was mixed, some delicious, some too heavy, some just not good and took too long to arrive. I would recommend though as it seems there are many yummy options.

Really wanted to come here, but they wouldn't make a kid's grilled cheese for our kid at 11: 35a. Told us to wait until noon for lunch menu.

Loved this place! Very warm and welcoming, perfect little neighborhood spot. Very kid friendly with crayons, books, and toys to keep them entertained. Haven't tried the food yet, but they have a picnic option where you can go sit on the grass outside and they'll deliver your food out to you

I didn't eat here, but my coworker did. I will admit it sure looks good. Love the vibe, especially the picnic basket (bring a blanket, you'll find out why).

Went here with some co workers for lunch. Super cute place with amazing food and service. I recommend the steak sandwich, it's delicious!

Nice little spot for great food and outdoor seating. And a Ceviche salad and The BLT with avocado and banana pudding and they fruit-flavored sangria, all of it was great ingredients, tasted good.
