Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee reviews
15Good donut. Quite pricey but the donuts are usually hot and there are only certain days of the weeks they make specific donuts. So it's fun. Be prepared to stand in a line, there's frequently a queue.
Amazing, fresh donuts! Seasonal flavors were great but the butter cake donut was the highlight!
BEST donuts we’ve had. Eat here every time we come to town and always travel home with a few for later too! Always fresh and so good.
Best donuts you will ever have. Quality every single time! Love that they also have seasonal flavors, but you can never go wrong with the Huckleberry
Expensive but you get what you pay for! The stuff sold here are fresh. The workers gave me samples since I was new. The huckleberry and salt -butter donuts are they best sellers, which I sampled. They were both good. Huckleberry was not overwhelmingly sweet, so I could taste the dough and huckleberry both. Salty donut was good, too. The chocolate donut was delicious. Three donuts for about $15 including the tip for almost aggressively friendly workers, but there are constant stream of people coming for donuts which shows that people are willing to fork up their wallets for good quality donuts around here. When you walk in, the workers shout, "welcome! " I almost shouted back something, but I didn't.
The donuts taste amazing and they always have a unique selection of flavors. The huckleberry donut is a staple of all of my orders and the maple bacon is my favorite of the permanent flavors. They do a good job of keeping the line moving quickly so they wait may look long, but it usually isn't.
Freshly made doughnuts all day, everyday! Guaranteed! The seasonal pumpkin and cinnamon pecan are currently my best picks
Regarding side car donuts I don't know what all the big hoopla is about. This is a real sugar-Fest. So if you love sugar you would love this place. I found my donut to be under cooked and way over sugared. I'd rather go to Pop Pie next door in Costa Mesa, If I am having a little sweet tooth. However, having said all this, the main attraction at Sidecar doughnuts is the Huckleberry doughnut. It is the Star of the show and worth the wait.
This is dream come true No word can do the justice, so give it a shot and you won’t regret it
First time eating sidecar doughnuts and they’re the very best doughnuts I’ve ever had! Friendly service, but a bit pricy
Wow! Wish they were in Vegas. This place is absolutely amazing. Been three times and never had a bad thing there. Their savory donut is bomb dot com!
Sidecar has ruined me. I can't eat doughnuts from any other establishment. That's kind of a good thing because whatever pink box shows up at an office or gathering, I'm not going to bother with it. On the other hand, it's also bad because whenever I come here, I go ham. These truly are the freshest doughnuts you'll find anywhere, and you can taste the quality in every bite. I love hearing about when they get recognized for their work because they deserve every bit of it.
The most beautiful donuts you'll ever see. Great service, too. Don't be afraid of the long line. It moves pretty fast.
My daughter ordered three doughnuts including a lemon poppyseed for me. When she got home there was a plain glazed doughnut in place of a lemon poppyseed. Very disappointed!
We were greated immediately after walking in. The customer service was amazing. I'm sad that I forgot to ask for her name before I left. She ran through almost each flavor with me since it was my first visit.
I chose the Huckleberry Donut and the vegan chai donut.
The Huckleberry was probably my favorite of the two. It's a fan favorite as it should be. The texture of the doughnut is the perfect balance of soft and dense. The berries tasted fresh. The flavors unfold as you chew through each bite.
Now for the Vegan Chai Donut! I was sceptical that it was vegan but it was absolutely delicious! It reminds me almost of a spice cake. The spices mend perfectly beneath the frosting. If you are vegan, you will not be disappointed.
Now the prices are on the higher end for a donut, but you are paying for unique flavors and quality. It's still worth the visit and I would come back again.
