Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. reviews
15A lot of top notch beers come from this place. I also did the brewery tour, which was quite entertaining. The lady doing the tour was lively and kept everyone engaged. Hope to go back again soon.
Lots of good beers lots of good food check it out if you're over there enjoy and it's Octoberfest right now we'll leave Cow
We booked a special tour for our company, and got the pleasure of having Juan as our tour guide. He was fantastic! Juan shared lots of history about the Brewery, answered all our crazy, detailed questions about the Brewery, and he exemplified the quality that Sierra Nevada Brewery is known for. We had a great time on the tour. It was an opportunity to do some bonding, have a fun experience, and learn about a local legend. Thank you!
Beer is great. Food is good but overpricing. One of few breweries would spend quite effort setting up a nice dine in restaurant. Lots of cute decos. However, the most concerning part about this place is its hygiene. It’s unclear to me why their indoor seating can have so many flies wandering around. I had to keep waiving my hands to guard my food… definitely recommend for their beer but not for their food, especially considering their price and the long wait.
Great food sourced locally, excellent beer at a good price, happy servers, good to the local community. Owned/run by a local hero. Good as it gets!
Great tour of one of California's best breweries. Finished off with a tasting 'flight' of a couple of old standbys and 2 that will probably become big sellers.
Elise was super awesome! She helped accommodate a gluten free entree that wasn’t on the menu, and it was really great! Pork chop was cooked well and was flavorful. Food came out fast even though the place was fully packed. Would eat here again for sure
Brenna went above and beyond what we have normally experienced at brewery tours. So funny and personable! My husband even got to break apart a bale of hops! It totally made his day! Thanks again Brenna!
Wonderful dinner with the family. This has been on my list to hit and did not disappoint. Service was excellent and food was above and beyond 'brewery' food. Recommend the prawn and salmon pasta and don't skip the focaccia bread appetizer!
They do have an outdoor dining patio but are NOT PET FRIENDLY. I checked online and later on realized there is a different location with the same name in Mills River, NC that is dog friendly. The Chico location is not pet friendly. Whenever we travel far from home we bring our small dog with us. On any given weekend and after a long tiring trail hike we like to stop somewhere for a good meal with dog in tow. Ever since a young pupper she's been trained to stay in her doggo stroller while we enjoy our time at the restaurant. It's what we do as responsible owners. However, after waiting 30 minutes to get seated we were told that they don't let dogs in the outdoor patio. They should have a sign specifying that their rule also includes the outdoor dining patio. Because we can understand why dogs are not allowed indoors but have a hard time understanding why a dog contained in a small dog stroller isn't allowed outside. It was the first time ever we were told that we couldn't dine outdoors with a dog that also happens to be contained. If you wish to dine outdoors in a pet friendly restaurant go to Burgers and Brew. They serve the same Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.beers there. Although, after our bad experience at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Restaurant in Chico we enjoyed beers from different brands. We felt Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.didn't deserve our business.there is a different
Great beer and food. Good selection of beers (styles). I like the 1/2 pint option, better than flights. Service was great, the place is great.
Service was incredible. Pizza was a 7/10, but the beer was 13/10 so it balances out to a 10/10 experience
Great experience! If you like Sierra Nevada beer, this is a must. If you are not familiar with Sierra Nevada or not a big fan, it's still worth taking the tour to learn about beer-making and see the hops. Brenna is a great tour guide, I recommend you ask for her if you can.
Absolute wonderful tour. Our guide was terrific and shared tons of details. They have done outstanding in the area of sustainability. You get a beer at the beginning of the tour and samples at that the end, including select brews only available at the brewery.
I miss the old original floor plan. Why did they try to reinvent the wheel. The new floor plan makes the restaurant much much louder and it's not as personable and less personality. I miss the old drawings and pictures that were on the walls prior. It's more commercial feeling now. Come on Ken, why did you change? You took down the previous drawings, pictures for now sound reducing boards! What!
