Signature San Francisco

It's an adorable hotel, very clean, retro decor, staff was friendly and helpful. The ONLY bad thing is the lack of parking. I really enjoyed my stay.

Really classy boutique kinda hotel with classic San Francisco flare right in the heart of the SoMA! I slept better knowing portraits of Mick Jagger and Amy Winehouse were watching over me! It IS a classic San Francisco building though so there's no way they could put an elevator in, so just be aware you might get some free cardio and arm's day action if you're on the third floor!
Also, very helpful family operation, super accommodating.

I could not recommend it enough. It is the best decorated hotel I've seen in this price range. I try to travel cheap, and have ended up in some pretty horrendous places that cost only a couple dollars less than this one. While this Signature San Francisco is one of my absolute favorite, most gorgeous places to stay, it is an incredible experience. And even better, look at the location! It's a 5 minute walk from the Mr. S Leather store. For around $100 a night, you could not stay in a more gorgeous and accommodating hotel. The only thing they don't have is an elevator, but that's really not that big of a deal. And the rooms are kind of small, but I really don't mind if they look this pretty.

Overall a great experience for a solo traveler without a car!
Great location and great staff. Fantastic coffee shop across the street, with plenty of other great places within walking distance. Not much in the way of amenities, but that's more motivation to get out and explore. Well priced for the city and what you get, too.
The single queen bed room was a little small, but good enough for a solo traveler or a couple who packs light. If you like to really stretch out I would suggest spending a little more for the king size room. Housekeeping was always thorough and friendly. The bathroom was nice, which is always a plus. The hotel and surrounding area felt safe and secure.
The only major issue I had with the room is that I could hear my neighbors fairly well through the walls. Not sure what they could do to cut down on this, to be honest. The breakfast offerings were also lacking, but they had enough to grab a quick little something before finding a nice restaurant.

It can be hardly 2 star hotel, maybe a youth hostel with the bunk bed in the room, shower water is hardly dripping. All the hotel is smelling a heavy curry Indian food.

This was the coolest hotel. My family of 5 was able to get one big room and we were all very comfortable. The beds were great and everything was very clean. I LOVE the decor! The gentlemen in the lobby were very kind and helpful. I definitely would stay here again. Thank you!

Absolutely loved this property. I was traveling with 5 teenagers and it was safe and comfortable. Great central location to walk to fun places. Clean, extra towels, a room with 2 full beds and a bunkbed! Staff was kind and helpful. I will absolutely stay here again.

The room was nice, a little stuffy at first but it aired out easily. The beds were soft and the staff is nice. Quality place, especially considering the inexpensive price!

When I arrived, I was provided a different room from the one I booked online. They said that there were no other rooms available, but I could be upgraded in two days for the rest of my stay. They never upgraded me and never adjusted the the amount paid to accommodate for the difference in price. This was also booked through Priceline and there was nothing they could do to help. Stay away from this place as they pulled a bait and switch with me.

The room had a very bad chlorine smell that it gave both me and my partner horrible headaches we had tocancel the stay they didn't even want to refund us partial of the room.

Overall we had no major issues. We traveled as a family of 8, had a fairly decent amount of space in our room…microwave is shared in the hallway…on-site parking is very limited and not very spacious, costs $30 a night…3 stories and no elevator (probably only reason not giving 5th star) …didn’t need to interact with staff beside check in and check out and they were friendly both times…let us check in 40 minutes early which was greatly appreciated…location was fine, felt safe enough, especially since garage door closed at like 8 (they let you in if you’re past that time) …all in all, I’d definitely stay here again without hesitation

That place is really good if you looking for not crazy expansive hotel for couple days to stay. If you have a car that’s also good that have safe parking place, and not to far from famous places to visite.

Rooms are small but well decorated. You could definitely tell it’s a boutique hotel and not a national brand, but that doesn’t stop them from trying their best. Front desk was incredibly flexible with check in/out. Would definitely recommend!

This place has a great price in a somewhat good location. However, as soon as we checked in, the room was incredibly smelly. I smelled like sweat and cigarettes mixed with clorox. It made me question the cleanliness of the room. Asked for a refund, but they only provided a partial refund.

Don't recommend this place.
