We went for the Napa Valley Jazz Concert. Wonderful location and layout! The Jazz festival was a celebration for 50 years of hip hop. It was very nice!

We have stayed here in the past and during the same time however this was a very disappointing stay leading up to the weekend. First off when booking, there was no indication that the Blue Note jazz festival was being held there. Not a big issue when booking until we get there. I usually don’t like to vent but with an issue every day it seemed appropriate to write so management would know how to handle these issues going forward.

As we are driving to Silverado we see signs stating potential traffic due to the jazz festival. We were only staying until Friday fortunately (I can’t imagine how crazy and busy the weekend would have been).

Upon checking in, there was only 1 rep checking in guests. And it took a long time due to Silverado not finding their booking so we waited for a good 10 minutes until another rep came out. What irked us about that female that helped us was when we asked her about the “golf range” being open, she had no clue and said to ask the golf club house. How do you not know the “golf range” is open or closed… it’s being occupied by the jazz festival! (Upon driving in, I noticed the stage in the golf range). She may not know the difference of a “golf course” or “golf range” so I’ll give her the benefit of doubt. But just that question means she was not informed of the jazz festival. The stage / jazz area was most likely set up days prior to Wednesday when we checked in. Sorry to ramble but hotels / resorts like Waldorf Grand Wailea and even normal Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton hotels (places we have stayed at) notify hotel guests of when construction times are occurring or testing fire alarms. We were given either a letter or there were notes posted throughout the hotel. However upon checking in at Silverado we were not notified of the Jazz preparations leading up to the weekend festivities. Some of the issues we encountered…
1. Golf carts blocking our entrance to get into our parking lot which required us to park further and walk to our room.
2. Loud Music playing as early as 8am. Fortunately we were waking up but I would hate to have drank some wonderful wine the night before and be woken up by loud hip hop music. This occurred both mornings we were there.
3. Last issue was we called housekeeping directly to ask for new set of towels, toothbrush and toothpaste before checking out around 8: 30am (checkout was strictly enforced at 11am). I spoke directly to a male rep and he took down our order and repeated our room number. 10am passes and we didn’t receive our items so I called housekeeping directly again and a female rep answered. She said she didn’t have our request and asked it we called the front desk for the order and I said no, spoke to a male rep who took our order. So she had to reorder our items and I only had 30 minutes to get ready.

I really felt the staff was underprepared about this large event occurring on their property and understaffed on Friday. It’s a shame you can’t notify paying guests about the issues that might occur. That’s all I request to prevent this venting review of Silverado. Luckily there is wine in the area to calm the nerves.

I love this place. I primarily use it for golf and there's nothing in the valley that's even close to their courses. It helps they have a PGA Tour event every year. The food in the Grill is good and they are k own for their "burgerdogs" only available at their on course snack shops. It's a must try during your round. The range is very nice, but the floor could use a little tlc. The deck is in great condition and very large so I doubt there would ever be a wait for a stall. Both courses have been through renovations, but try to play the north if you can. It's slight more expensive, but worth the extra money.

Pretty nice place to stay. Just check your bill. They aren't very good at accounting. Really annoying

I'm giving this resort 4 stars due to the rooms being a little dated for my liking. Nicely manicured, clean place and very family oriented. Deli/ Market has great options for breakfast & lunch. Golf course is beautiful as well. Short drive to Yountville and Downtown Napa.

Very beautiful resort. The customer service is out of this world. Anything and everything was just a call or text away. Amazing grill/restaurant on site that also delivers to your room for reasonable prices. Overall I recommend to anyone trying to get away and relax.

We’ve got a mistaken/unknown extra charge but the customer service just hang off my phone call while I’m speaking. Never came to this area because of the attitude to customers.

Stayed here for a wedding. Rental condo was very nice and well appointed. Restaurant and bar were excellent, albeit at "Napa Valley" pricing. Having said that, I would stay here again. It's a great location for touring and tasting. The staff was impeccable.

Clarification. This place is not a resort/hotel It is a private community on a golf course that rents their condos/homes to the Silverado. The Spa is across the street from the main building and if you need to get around on the property you can ride the golf carts. Most units have fireplaces and your first log is complimentary. Overall, the units are well maintained, you can call the frontdesk like any hotel and theres housekeeping seevices. Rooms have amenities in bathrooms and full kitchens. I believe most face the golfcourse, so if you book request a lower unit so you can enjoy walking out upper units have balconies as well. Also make sure. The food in the restaurant was, pretty standard, however the server was nice. Swimming pool was basic and very quiet, lite music. Overall this place reminds me of a members only golf community and you know what comes with that. A hybrid of Palm Springs meets Napa Valley

Great breakfast place! Rooms small, we had loud neighbors, workers didn’t do anything about that. Pool was crowded with kids I’m not golfer, but looks like place perfect for golfers

We have stayed a Silverado many times each year over the past ten years. It's always been very nice. But we had a horrible experience with a valet at checkin this past Friday afternoon. While I parked at the front circle of the hotel - as I always do when checking in at Silverado - the valets said hello to me as I walked up the stairs to the front desk of the hotel.

My wife waited in the car with the air conditioning running due to 100+ degree heat. A few minutes later, a valet opened the driver's side door of our car, sat down next to my wife and tried to start the car. My wife was startled and stunned. She asked him to exit our car and he then said he needed to move the car. My wife offered to move the car and asked him to leave the car. He refused and said this is their "standard policy" and moved the car a few feet forward. My wife was very upset and shaking from the experience. I asked the GM to call me but I was called by Scott in Guest Services. Nothing happened other than an apology.

This was inappropriate and very aggressive behavior toward a woman sitting alone in a car that did NOT need to be moved. There was not a parking problem at the front of the hotel. My wife offered to move the car and they could have asked me to move it while I waited in line to check in.

I asked the general manager to call me but no one other than Scott responded. I doubt we will return to Silverado Resort again, nor will I allow my team members to stay at Silverado, due to safety concerns following this incident. We have stayed here many times each year and the valet were always aggressive but never this brazen. This type of behavior is outrageous and even worse is the lack of response or direct follow up. The experience ruined our Anniversary celebration.
