Closes 30 minutes before closing. Tried to pick up an order last night, got there at 9: 30 (they close at 10) and said “oh sorry we just did last call” when it was exactly 9: 30 and could have let us place an order togo.

Loved it though you shouldn't love food. Great ramen and filling. Spicy tuna roll was great.

The dishes are decent, customer service is okay, and the btes part is it is very close to the theater. Nothing special but not too bad at all.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. I love the atmosphere and the weather here. Very relaxing and comfyyy!
Portion is huge, staff was okay, price is reasonable and everything looks clean.
Will come back next time!

What a bad service since the beginning.
We were trying to come to this place since long time ago and we finally did. When we arrived, the hostess asked for our number and name to put us in the waiting list; and I don’t even think she heard the number.
We NEVER received any text. We came back after 10min. Because we saw that people after us were getting in.
We asked her about the text because we didn’t received it and she just responded “I just sent it” after all this people. Didn’t try to solve the problem, since was the only think that she said. I would expect better costumer service, not even smile or good greeting or care for people.

Got the garlic truffle and the classic ramen for my child. Both were good but I think the classic is better. I like they have options to choose pork, chicken or tofu topping.

Passed by this place many times whenever I visit the Spectrum and finally got to try this. We ordered the classis ramen combo with fried chicken karage and blaze ramen combo with fried kyoza. The fried kyoza is crispy and the inside is yummy. Fried karage is crispy and love the batter. The Classic Ramen has a flavorful creamy tonkotsu broth with some truffle oil on top. We ordered the pork and it's tender with big piece of fat. It has lots of bean sprouts and spinach. Noodles is al dente. The blaze has a chili bomb added to the soup and it's spicy. If you cannot handle spicy, do not order the blaze and just order the classic. Portion is decent for me but seems not enough for my husband. So for those who can eat more, maybe ordered the rice bowl as your combo selection instead of ordering the appetizer. They have $19 dine combo deal which is good values. Will definitely go again and try the shoyu noodles.

Service is quick and friendly. Once we Sat down, water is served immediately and in 5 min, server will come by and take your order. Paying is easy too when the server will come to you and you can pay by your table. Give it a try if you are at Irvine Spectrum

I've never gone out of my way to leave a bad review but given what happened tonight I thought I should share publicly how awful and rude the service was at this establishment. First of all it's ramen, with so many options you would hope that each place could pride themselves on hospitality along side their own unique recipe. We showed up at 8: 50 pm the place was full of happy people all sitting down eating, no one appeared to be waiting andthere were visible tables open that we could hav been sat in.with the restaurant closing at 10: 00 pm we believed we had ample time to eat, pay and leave before closing. However the girl working at the front let me know that they were doing last call at 9: 15pm so she wouldn't be able to seat us. I was confused initially since I've never heard of refusing customers 25 minutes before "last call". She offered for us to order to go, but this was a destination and we would have gone to a place closer to home if we intended on having to-go ramen. The point I'm making is that silver lake ramen at Irvine spectrum has absolutely bizarre staffing and apparently any rules the host decides on will go. It was almost as if she was making it up so she could just be done with her shift. I've worked as the front end staff of a restaurant before and the restaurant owner (who is a wonderful successful person) prided himself on serving excellent food AS WELL AS excellent service to the paying customers. Silver Lake Ramen is deserving of the zero star review and hopefully this helps you guys get a grip on staffing/procedures. No one wants to be greeted by a cold, unfriendly girl who has zero intention of actually helping you build your business.

Didn't feel welcome by the time we went in and by the the time we're going out as if they can't see us at all. Food was ok, the price is reasonable, but the service needs some improvement.

The Ramen is good, especially the Shoyu on Fire with the Spice level. However, the chicken that's in there needs to be fresh it has this plain taste.

Furthermore, you can get combos for a little extra like the gyoza and chicken bun with your Ramen choice. But if If you're not gonna get an appetizer, just get the Ramen or the rice bowl you want.

Not gonna lie, their food tastes great! The restaurant is a good place for a date based on its layout and it’s look. The only issue we had was the wait. It was nearly a two hour wait to be seated. We were starving by the time we had gotten in, and they didn’t have the gyoza. It ended up working in our favor because the broccolini and three types of mushroom was a definitely good substitute. The ramen we ordered was the Blaze and the Truff oil collaboration Garlic truffle. The ramen was also a hit as well! The rationale behind the four was the exorbitant wait time. If this gets addressed, an easy hands down five star.

You should go if you’re craving great ramen. Just remember to bring snacks or get on the wait list asap.

Give it a try!

I love the ramen here! So excited that they are opening another location closer to where I live. Really great karage too!

I was halfway on my ramen when this waiter literally put a receipt on my table and went “whenever you are ready”. Come on I barely started to eat! Are you guys really kicking out customers who just started to eat?

The food is absolutely delicious every time. I dream of the soft boiled egg in the ramen. The staff (shout-out Ginger!) is friendly and super welcoming. Exemplary cleaning protocol. Swift service.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Silverlake Ramen is hands down one of my favorite spots for ramen in town. I mean, I can't even pick just one favorite because their Blaze, Classic, and Shoyu ramen are all bomb in their own unique ways. If you're into spicy food, then the Blaze ramen is definitely the way to go. It's got a nice kick to it, but not so much that it completely overwhelms the flavors of the broth and toppings.
And can we talk about the pork bun and spicy chicken bun? Yum! The pork bun is a classic favorite and is always a safe bet, but the spicy chicken bun is where it's at if you're looking for something with a little more heat. Both are equally delicious and are perfect appetizers to start off your meal. And Don’t forget their Gyozas!
The only downside to Silverlake Ramen is the wait time on the weekends. I'm talking over two hours, people! It's insane, but honestly, I get it. The food is just that good. So, if you're planning on coming in for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night, make sure you come early and be prepared to wait. It's totally worth it though, trust me. You can put your name on the wait list and get into the movies ….

The staff is super friendly and welcoming. When I went I had to make a reservation, before going in. The wait was only about 10 minutes. I went with two of my best friends. The spicy ramen was very spicy after having a few sips. The broth was tasty and the chicken was cooked perfectly for me. For the price they give you tons of chicken and a lot of broth. I got the combo which came with an appetizer. I believe I got the fried chicken as a side. It was pretty good. I am definitely going to go back here.

Excellent tonkotsu ramen and karaage! I would not recommend the sushi (tasted like the fish section of the grocery store and the nori was tough) and the gyoza was so so. There was a 45 min wait for a table of 2 on a Wednesday evening, so if you want some pretty good ramen and to run other errands, check in before you go shopping.
