It is difficult to find parking, especially if the paid parking lot is full. Once we found parking and came here, we were seated right away. The service was great. I ordered the shoyu ramen and was disappointed because it did not have any flavor. Two people ordered the garlic truffle ramen and said that it was very good and that it had a lot of flavor. I love that they have the option of getting ramen and an appetizer in the menu together.

The staff's customer service was good. But it's so bad, the noodles can't be made long, and there's so much that it tastes like hell.

Was always wondering if this place was any good when waiting for kbbq across the street. Finally tried it and the spicy tuna roll rice was hard and was poorly rolled… Would never order here again. Ramen was also mid, recommend any other ramen shop.

Spicy tuna roll was just a minced tuna roll. Bland, no spice at all and poorly rolled. The pickled ginger on the side of the roll was way too big, two large slices over 8” each. Chicken karaage was better.

Got a really bad food poisoning last time we ate here, not just me but 5 of us in total, then they say that street food is more dangerous but I think it’s the other way around

The ramen is so so. They were unfortunately out of brocolini which is actually the star of their veggie ramen dish. Without it, it was rather lackluster.

Their online payment system has tipping options starting at 18% with the default set to 20% which means if you want to tip 15%, you have to mentally calculate it while the waiter holds the tablet. It's awkward and manipulative. 15% is the standard tipping amount in restaurants and trying to manipulate people into tipping more just leaves a bad taste

Customer service isn't great at all, I waited more than 30 min for two ramen bowls and it wasn't that busy. I paid for two ramen and a lemonade and despite the long wait I still didn't receive my lemonade and I had already left at that point after paying for it, does t compare to the original silver lake ramen on sunset. Do yourself a favor and go to the original one.

This place has gone way down hill since I first came here. The quality of the meat is rubbery, the broth is watered down. There’s never a manager on site so the employees just look at you like you’re crazy when they get your order wrong. This restaurant is gross the employees are rude. I was there today with a friend and we had to swat flies away from our food the whole meal. We were sitting inside! A fly fell into my soup and luckily today the manager was there. She reluctantly took it of the bill, after insinuating that we put the fly in there ourselves to get free food. She asked if we have a problem. We said our only problem was the fly in our food. She made us quite uncomfortable for complaining about something that shouldn’t be an issue. This restaurant is gross inside! Do not eat here. I remember when the food was decent so if you must have it take it TO GO. I will definitely not be returning.

There were seats available in the dining room but customers were blocked outside and I asked the waiter if we can get seated he said no. He told us that there was only him serving so no one can be seated at the moment. Most of the customer left after a 10-15 mins wait. Very poor service.

Flavorful, savory, fresh products, and hearty but not sticky noodles make for an exceptional late night dining treat. Went after a nearby concert. The Ramen was hearty and not sticky or gluey like some ramens I've had. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the miso had an almost creamy like texture. To top it off, the vibe at the Chapman Market has an almost intoxicating energy. Highly recommended.

Visited Silverlake Ramen today and was deeply disappointed. Many basic ingredients for a classic ramen were unavailable, and most of the additional toppings were also out of stock. The drink situation was just as bad, with a limited selection that was not only scarce but also lacked in taste. When I inquired if I could at least have grounded chicken (which they use for their bowls), the waitress flatly refused without even considering checking with the kitchen or the chef. With so many other excellent ramen restaurants in LA, I expected better. A truly underwhelming experience. The last time I’ll be eating at this ramen shop when in California!

This is on my shortlist of great go-to neighborhood joints—it’s just plain good! It’s always clean and offers friendly efficient service. I used to like the classic Tonkatsu pork-based broth with is rich and creamy. Lately I much prefer the thinner simpler Shoyu chicken-based broth. I like the pork as my protein which is one large thick piece much less fatty than most other places. I hold the egg as I hate them… but I substitute the bamboo shoots for bean sprouts making it more like a classic Ramen with a chicken broth. They include a nice fresh piece of seaweed and a generous portion of spinach. The noodles are always plentiful cooked perfectly. The soup comes to the table hot and and while it’s hard to finish—you probably will! I’ve ordered the Gyoza—good but not needed. There’s a nice simple patio seating area that overlooks the busy courtyard that I suggest. I like to start at KazuNori 3 doors down for 2-3 hand rolls and then on to Silverlake Ramen for soup. There’s a lot of Ramen joints to choose from… I find this one the most consistent, cleanest and tastiest!

There is only one server trying to manage 3 persons job, there is a big line of customers and delivery guys, the waiting time is about 20 min now,

It was just average and normal. It doesn't mean bad but it was normal? Standard? Average? Ramen.

Silverlake Ramen, nestled in Koreatown, has truly captured our hearts as the ultimate go-to spot for fantastic ramen. Our experiences at this restaurant have consistently exceeded our expectations, and we find ourselves returning time and time again.

One of the standout features of Silverlake Ramen is their all-day, everyday happy hour. This is an absolute game-changer, providing remarkable value for the quality of food and experience. Our typical order includes their mouthwatering chicken karaage, perfectly seasoned and delightfully crispy, paired with a pitcher of beer—a combination that never fails to satisfy our cravings, all at an incredible price.

However, the true star of their menu, and my personal all-time favorite, is their garlic truffle ramen. This exquisite creation is a true masterpiece that has set the bar high for any other ramen I've tried. The harmonious blend of robust garlic flavors and the delicate truffle essence creates a symphony of tastes that is simply unparalleled.

Aside from the remarkable food, another aspect that makes Silverlake Ramen stand out is their dog-friendly atmosphere. It's a place where we can enjoy a fantastic meal with our furry friends by our side. This added touch of inclusivity and warmth makes dining here an even more enjoyable experience.

Silverlake Ramen has become our default choice for satisfying our ramen cravings. We frequent this establishment at least once a month and consider it the perfect spot to bring friends and family visiting from out of town. The combination of exceptional food, unbeatable happy hour, and a dog-friendly environment make it a gem in Koreatown.

Good option!
They have different branches, and if you’re in Korea Town, it’s in the Chapman Plaza where you’ll also find other restaurants. No validation for dining here and there is a 4 dollar self park inside the plaza. The food is good and the ramen portions are generous. Friendly service is also a plus.
