Silvermark Construction Services, Inc reviews
5They are a great company to work for. I'm a sub contractor with my own cleaning company and they have been great.
We absolutely love working with this customer for several reasons. Firstly, their honesty is remarkable, and they consistently deliver ahead of schedule. Secondly, their work product is truly unparalleled. There are five key factors that make them a joy to collaborate with:
1) The data they provide is exceptional.
2) Their underwriting is spot on, leaving no room for error.
3) They always follow through on their promises and deliver what they commit to.
4) Communication is effortless as they are always easily accessible.
5) Most importantly, they treat their employees with utmost respect. Overall, it's a pleasure to have them as a partner
My experience with Silvermark has been excellent. They delivered as promised, on time, and provided great service after the sale. I highly recommend Silvermark.
Buyer Beware
Dealing with Silvermark Construction, the Owner/Broker of Three Tree Realty and Greg and Linda Owen, has been one of the worst experience in home purchasing my husband and I have ever had. The process seems honorable and friendly but buyer beware. The deceit, quality of construction, unscrupulous and unprofessional ways of both Linda and Greg Owen are deplorable and being an educated buyer I can only reiterate, BUYER BEWARE! We luckily did not buy!
I can't speak to the quality of the homes they build. I can say you better hope they don't build a house next to your existing home. While a certain amount of noise is to be expected (hammering, trucks unloading, etc), Silvermark goes above and beyond to ramp up the irritation factor to the maximum.
One of the prerequisite items you'd find at a construction site is a temporary power pole installed by PG&E for $1200-1500. This is used by the onsite subcontractors to operate their power tools.a pretty essential item you would think.
Not Silvermark folks, they're too cheap to install a power pole. Instead they placed a portable generator onsite a mere 30 feet from our kitchen window.
This isn't one of those "whisper-quiet" emergency backup generators either. It's basically an extra large chainsaw motor emitting a tremendous amount of noise and exhaust fumes, all day, next to your house.
Needless to say there's no point in puttering around around in the back yard with one of these thing grinding away next door. And not only is it a nuisance for us, I feel bad for their subcontractors who are working literally right next to it all day. It's not fair to them. They're doing a great job building a home for some family and they have to put up with something like this on the job.
We called the police dept to report a noise hazard but all they could do was contact Silvermark's site supervisor, who promised us they would be installing a power pole in 2 weeks. That was a month ago. Generator is still running and no power pole in sight.
Like I said, you better keep your fingers crossed and hope Silvermark doesn't build a house next to yours. They obviously don't care about the existing neighbors next to the construction site.
